This is probably the most intense of all five Nightwalkers Series books, with new enemies and many things happening at once. I hated Noah at first, but near the end of the book he was already one of my favorite characters. Once more, the narrator is absolutely fantastic!

As reigning Vampire Prince, Damien has tasted every pleasure the world has to offer - consorting with kings and queens and delighting in sensual adventure. Now, tired of such pursuits, he devotes his energies to protecting his people. The war between human necromancers and Nightwalkers has escalated, and when the enemy makes a daring move, kidnapping Syreena, a Lycanthrope Princess, Damien boldly follows. He succeeds in rescuing her, but is unprepared for the erotic longing her lush sensuality awakens in him.

Powerful, relentless, merciless, Elijah has always won every battle he's ever taken on - until now. Ambushed by necromancers, he is left for dead only to be discovered by the woman who could very well deliver the final blow: Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen.

The book was amazing, I loved it as I loved all TMI books, but the narrators were TERRIBLE. Ed has a beautiful, sexy voice, I expected so much from him as Jace - and was deeply disapointed! He sounded like close to falling asleep. And Molly, well, someone could a least tell her how to spell the character's name correctly.
