after year one, this story has only gained momentum with the second book. Nora Roberts has reached a level of maturity gained only with knowledge and experience. I can't wait to get the last book.

This is just ground covered previously by Graham. Tired old story line, no surprises or new plot. Even the ghost don't appear until 2/3 of the way through the story and then I'm not sure why they even bothered. The simpering female lead was too stupid to even gain any sympathy. If you are a Heather Graham fan and have heard her earlier works, don't bother with this one!

This story is compelling beginning to end. One of Nora's best. My favorite character is CiCi. I wish I had had one of her in my life.

Sometimes the story dragged and was redundant, but the ending was worth it. Luke is the best performer no matter what the material.

I have listened to all preceeding Krewe of Hunters by Heather Graham books and found some of them to be redundant, or difficult
to believe. Even though the subject matter of ghost is a little out there, this book was well managed with obvious research done on the location. I would recommend this book even if it is the first read of the Krewe books.

What made the experience of listening to Jewels of the Sun the most enjoyable?

The best part of this listening experience was the accent of the reader for the different characters being so authentically Irish.

Which scene was your favorite?

One of my favorite scenes in this book is when the "big city" girl explores the absolutely quaint Irish thatch roof cottage, and discovers that the is no microwave oven, coffee maker, or electric can opener. Yet she embraces the idea of "old world" living.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Big City Ideas meet Old World Charm. or - Returning to your roots with a little help from Magick.

Any additional comments?

I love the light easy fantasy in this book along with real life situations.
