Creativity, Inc. is a book for managers who want to lead their employees to new heights, a manual for anyone who strives for originality, and the first-ever, all-access trip into the nerve center of Pixar Animation - into the meetings, postmortems, and "Braintrust" sessions where some of the most successful films in history are made. It is, at heart, a book about how to build a creative culture - but it is also, as Pixar co-founder and president Ed Catmull writes, "an expression of the ideas that I believe make the best in us possible."

It took me about half way to really get into this book and then wow, I was really happy with the ideas, thoughts and examples shared on how Pixar creates an innovative, creative environment. Lots of learning and great principles to put into action. I am even more impressed with Pixar and appreciative of this book sharing their process and how they’ve done it.

How to Be Like is a "character biography" series: biographies that also draw out important lessons from the life of their subjects. In this new book - by far the most exhaustive in the series - Pat Williams tackles one of the most influential people in recent history. While many recent biographies of Walt Disney have reveled in the negative, this audiobook takes an honest but positive look at the man behind the myth. For the first time, the book pulls together all the various strands of Disney's life into one straightforward, easy-to-listen-to tale.

I'm glad I got the audio as it was great hearing Shonda's personality shine through. I really enjoyed this book - engaging, authentic and inspiring. I also could relate (she could be describing me!) so that added to my experience. I love how she tied in her life experiences to insightful life lessons.
