Twisted Truths by Rebecca Zanetti is a story of insight, power, psychopath, control and building the best soldiers through genetics changes with twists and turns that will blow your mind. All this is built around a romantic plot of two people who fell in love with one walking away to save the women he loves as he leaves behind a broken heart that just about destroys her. As the plots turns you see amazing twist that holds your attention with action, adventure, some thrills and a few chills that will chill even the warmest hearts all wrapped around keeping one baby and one woman safe. Through it all you see one woman’s thrust for power, control as she works on building a small army and bring back to the folds this one’s she has lost.

Noni has lost the women she called her sister to the father of her child, now the child has been kidnapped by her father and Noni is racing against time to bring her home where she belongs. To do this she must face the one man who tore her world apart and beg him to help her find her sisters baby. The story starts off with action and never stops. It is one danger after another on this wild ride of enemies after enemies hunting them down trying to take them out or is it to bring some home to a mad woman who fights to control those she made. Denver not only has to save the baby but he must keep them both safe from his enemies that are tracking him down it is one step forward and two steps back as they come head to head with an amazing standoff that hooks you and won’t let you go.

The author pulls you in with an amazing plot that keeps you spellbound and at times shocks you. The love Noni and Denver have is very powerful add one little baby who has been kidnapped and their world spins out of control. I loved the plot, the romance and way the story is built around his past and how he was raised. The danger is real and the love is hot. It has amazing twists and turns that will rock your world.

The narrator does a wonderful job pulling the listener in with true emotion that makes you hold your breath and closing you eyes. You feel every pain, passion and thrill the characters feel. Her performance is outstanding, she puts so much emotion into this story, her character voices are wonderful, you always know who is taking and what they are feeling. I really enjoyed each character and how she brings them to life. There are no background noises, no repeating of words and no volume changes. The music at the beginning and end goes well with the story. I did think it was a little loud at the start but it doesn’t last long. I look forward to listening to more of her work. She knows how to hold you on the edge, making you feel the excitement.

I had no trouble feeling the emotion coming right off the pages as a mad woman tries to get control back. The chemistry Noni and Denver is mind blowing as well as the passion they feel. The power these men have and what they can withstand is amazing. You can feel the emotions they have for each other as they stand together to take control of their lives and hunt down the people who made them the way they are. The author has written the story that many more books can be written about these men. There are hints given that they do not know their true power which could turn in to some very interesting reading if the author chooses to take it that way. This is a very fast pace read that I didn’t want to put down, I found myself reading every minute I had from breaks at work to late at night. The hunted become the hunters as they plan missions to take out those who hunt them. You can feel the emotion and danger as you read it. You feel the passion they have for their women and the thrills as they come. Although this is based around two people the author brings in characters from the past book which adds so much to the excitement as the story builds.

I loved all the characters, the aunts were something else. I found delightful humor that made me chuckle and some heart pounding danger that had me holding my breath. I was pulled in from the start until the end. Which makes this one of my favorite reads of the year. If you like danger, adventure, blowing things up, heart stopping moments with your romance you are so going to love this. I enjoyed it so much that I went and bought the first two of this series on audio. I can’t wait to see how it all started and do hope there are more books to this series.

I have started the next audio box-set in this series, it is filled with danger, loss, pain and sorrow along with smiles, laughs and love. This set is just as great as the books before, it is so nice to see old family and learn stories of old and new characters. The narration was done by two different narrators the first and last book is done by the same narration the review for him will be at the bottom for both books.

Westward Moon
Takes us back a few years when the Indian split over beliefs and wants. Jack and Sparrow fell deeply in love only to lose each other when her father started his own tribe and moved far away. Many years later Sparrow is forced to marry a man she doesn’t love only to find out he is mean and abusive. By their law the Indian woman can divorce their husbands but her husband and her father won’t agree which leaves only one choice for Sparrow that is to run hard and fast back to the man she has always loved. What follow are the trials of that love with many stepping stones along the way leaving blood and death in its way.

The story is very heartbreaking with some very touching scenes. I thought the author did a wonderful job bring the story to life pulling in the reader and making them a part of the story. I am very much looking forward to listening to the rest of the box set to see where this series goes.

Westward Christmas
This is not one of my favorite books in this series, it was a good addition to the series and gives closure to the romance of Ben’s and Sasha’s. As I am sure back then there was sex before marriage, more so if the woman had already been married. I thought this story showed more of how that issue was handled back then. The author never really explained to me about Ben’s tempter, I was a little confused at why and how it built, the author does say it was more of a drinking thing but doesn’t give much background on it. I thought it added a lot to the series but not as a standalone book.

The narrator I didn’t really care for her normal accent or normal voice carried throughout on many of the characters and you really could not see who was talking. It sounded more like just reading and not being in character voice. She does give true emotion, there are no repeating of words, I found no background sounds or volume changes. Really she did a good job all but for the character voices. For me she took away from the story.

Westward Visions
I really loved the characters in this story it show how hard it was for not only the whites but the Indians which have mixed blood. They really have a hard time in both worlds, they just do not fit, neither side wants a spouse with mixed blood, they are looked down on I think more so for the woman since no man really wants a mixed woman. I thought the author did a wonderful job showing how hard life can be for them as well as the life they lead. The story is about trust, honor and believing in the Indian way. I loved the humor, and how the author shows how easy it is to distrust and what the cause of that is. So far this is my favorite of the series. I love Reckless and have done so throughout this series, he has had love interest before and lost love. For him to find a woman he can love that goes with his beliefs and willing to live the way he does but also be able to live in the Whiteman’s world is just amazing. The author really pulled me in and made it very easy to picture the scenes.
Reckless finally finds a woman who he can love, there are trying times with her family, as well as getting to know each other. What follows is a true romantic romance with turmoil and fear along with love and passion. When the tribe looses their home Reckless works on finding a new one, there are many nonbelievers, that causes hardship not only in his marriage but with his tribe. It is a passionate story, with love, power, lose and trust issues. There was nothing I didn’t like about this story from the characters to the plot which is full of emotion and humor.

The narrator does a wonderful job delivering true emotions to the story, you always know who is talking and just what that are feeling. There are no repeating of words, no background noise just a truly enjoyable listen that pulls you in. His normal voice is very pleasant as well as his character voices, his voice is easy to listen to and gave me many hours of enjoyment. He made me feel the pain and sorrow each character is going through as well as the excitement and danger that comes with this story. With his narration he made me understand why some people act the way they do and that not everything is as it seems. For me he bought this story to life making it easy to picture each scene as it was happening. His performance was top of the line pulling me in giving me a listen I couldn’t put down. If you haven’t listened to any of his audios you don’t know what you are missing.

I just love this author and all of her book she pulls you in with excitement, thrills, action and suspense. This is romance as its finest with an author that never disappoints you with strong women who know how to hit the ground running and the hero’s that do their best to keep them safe. I have loved this series it has a great plot and delightful characters that keep you turning the pages. She pulled me in from the first page until the last. I stayed up very late at night I hated to put the book down.

Mr. Temblay did an outstanding job pulling the listener in giving a wonderful listen to his many different character voices to his wonderful tones they all were delightful. He held me on the edge through all the danger to the romance. His female voices were as great as his male ones. I had to trouble picturing the scenes as they unfold holding me on the edge through the danger which is filled with action. His tones and emotions were great you always knew who was talking and just what they were feeling. There was no repeating of words, no background noises, no volume changes. It sounded like he finished it at one setting if breaks were taken I could not tell. He made me feel like I was setting right there watching a movie as he delivered the excitement and thrills even a few chills that I felt all the way to my toes. He performance was outstanding giving me a listen I was hooked on from start to finish

When Savannah and Cassius meet you can see the sparks they create coming right off the pages. Savannah is a strong woman which Cassius likes he just isn’t sure he trust her. Cassius is very alpha, strong, handsome and daring. He makes demands and expects her to fall in line following him and the orders he gives. Rules are rules as these two try their best to put up a wall to keep their attraction at bay. Neither willing to admit what they feel which really adds to the story giving a very interesting and exciting read. As danger comes their way they must learn how to work together as they try to fight their attraction. What follows is one exciting, passionate, daring read that you won’t be able to put down.

Ms. Grant has out done herself filling each page with excitement, suspense, danger, wonderful hot love scenes that is full of tension, lust, thrills and chemistry that leaves you holding your breath just waiting to see what comes next. The danger keeps you on the edge with eyes glued to the pages turning them as fast as you can. I was talking to the characters as if they were real people. When you start talking, yelling at the book you know you are so invested you can’t put it down that you have a wonderful read you wish would not end. Mr. Grant deliveries all this and more she is one of my go to authors when I want something exciting that I know will pull me in making my heart beat faster as she takes me through one thrilling scene into the next. I have trouble waiting for her next book to come out. If you are looking for a wonderful author that keeps you one the edge with excitement and thrills you have found her. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I have.

As we all know once you tie the knot life does change, you have to get use to living together and all the difference it brings. Maggie gets free tickets to Hawaii and they decide to make it a honeymoon trip. As they get there their life takes them in different directions bring with it mystery, humor and danger. As with life things never go the way you think they will, justice isn't always easy and sometime just a little over the top, things can go wrong in an instant. There were times when my mouth hung open and I closed my eyes as he and the men beside him go through the pains but at the same time I could stop myself from laughing. Walter has a dry sense of humor that is right up my alley. I fell in love with Walter almost from the first page. It was a thrilling, exciting, dangerous, wonderful listen that has a little of everything between these pages. Once you start this series you won’t be able to read/listen to just one.

Mr Kuch is a wonderful narrator from his male to female voices you are captivated, he really brings Walter to life with his dry humor that fits him to a T. Each of his character voice really fit what I picture the character to sound like which makes it very easy to picture them in your mind. I had no trouble picturing the danger, ribbing, humor and excitement as it unfolds. There are no background noise, no repeating of words and no volume changes. He brings true emotions to his characters you can feel the power of the excitement, danger, thrills, and humor along with the dry humor of dear old Walter. I cannot tell you just how thrilling this audio was and how much I enjoyed his work. The narrator knows how to bring you the thrills, excitement that holds your attention from the first page until the last. I really can’t wait to listen to more of this series from him.

When I pick up one of Mr. Thornhill audios I know I am in for a thrilling ride with a delight plot that holds my attention, keeping me suspense and holding me captive. I love how the author twist wording to come up with things you would never have thought of in that context which really makes it more humorous. My husband and I have the same sense of humor, we have really enjoyed listening to this together, he doesn’t like audios but always listens with me and gets such a kick out of them. This is a clean story base but does have passion and a little romance but not as you know it. Which makes it even more thrilling to be able to have a family and teens that can read it and have something to talk about. It is a series that both of the sexes will enjoy. There are tons of excitement, danger, and even a few thrills with a twist that you don’t see coming. I was hooked from the first page until the end and loved it so much I bought the next book in the series. I love Walter and all the characters, they bring so much to the story line. The author and narrator really know how to pull the listener in giving a very highly entertain listen that captivates you with a story you can’t put down. I can’t tell you just how much I truly enjoyed this.

The author brings the follow up on book1 where Lilly father and mother got together. Now many years later their daughter is all grown up and wanting to make a life of her own. She wants to live on the land they own in America, her parents want her to settle down and get married living near them. She has no plans to marry but would be interested in finding out what passion is all about with the right person. She decides she is going to get on a ship and sail there without her family knowing about it. First she must find a ship, one look at a tall dark handsome man and she find way more than a ship but the passion she is longing for. Now to get Ran to agree to her plan. It does seem he has plans of his own and he wants so much more than passion from her. What follows is as they sail they fall for the other but both not willing to give what the other wants. Her father isn’t very happy about her and is even more unhappy when he finds out what the two has been up to. This was an exciting story of love, passion and finding out more about life. Letting go of the past and moving on to happier times. The plot is good, characters are likable. It isn’t the best I have listened to from this author but was very enjoyable.

There were parts of Ms. Pendergast narration I found very enjoyable but others that I did not. I enjoyed her natural voice I truly loved her accent. I enjoyed some of her character voices I thought she really got into the character not only in tone but in emotion. I found her tones to be pretty even. There were no places where the volume was higher or lower than any other place in the book. I had no trouble feeling the emotions of the characters even if I didn’t like their voices. If any breaks were taken I could not tell. There was no place where the volume changes it stays the same throughout. There are no repeating of words, it is a very clear and clean audio. Her delivery was great and her performance was good. You always knew who was talking and just what they were

The killer wants her but is willing to take another to see if the pain, needs and wants can be filled by them, only to find they cannot. Rosanna only understands that he doesn’t want anything to do with her and said such hurtful words. One night their woulds cross paths putting Roasanna in danger leaving Dom running close behind to safe her. There is a touch of time travel with an ending that could lead into the next story. There is danger, romance and twists that keeps the story interesting.

The narrator does a good job but repeats a lot of wording. She gives emotion but at times seems dry. There were no volume changes, it was a clean audio. Most of her character voices were nice, a few I didn’t care for. It wasn’t and audio that flowed easy and I did find my mind wondering but I always came back. For the most part I enjoyed this audio but feel the narrator needs to put a little more emotion into it at times and watch the repeating of words when she takes a break.

I thought this had a good plot, is well thought out and very interesting. I liked the characters, the drama, and emotions the author gives the story. It isn’t one of my favorite of hers but the narrator did take away from the story.

The narrator pulls you in making you apart of the story giving you a picture you can see vividly in your mind. I haven’t listened to any of her work before and I can’t wait to listen to more of it.

The author pulled me in from the first few pages taking me into a plot that held pain, hurt, danger and love. I really enjoy the plot and loved the characters. It is short and sweet but don’t let that fool you, there is such passion and love along with thrills and a few trying times. Not everything is as it seems. It was well worth my time.

He never expected to inherit the title and become the Earl of Manchester, but his brother drank himself into an early grave leaving a daughter behind and a mountain of debt. What a charming, fun, exciting romance that really broke my heart the way Hannah by her cousin but Garrick comes through that is after he knocks her out of her carriage. He becomes over protective and demands she stays in bed to get well. She goes nuts and breaks the rules what follows is a delightful romance that really touches the soul.

Ms. Hale’s narration is wonderful she has a lovely accent that really pulls you in. Her male and female voices are lovely, you always know who is talking and just what they are feeling. There are no repeats of words, no background noise or any volume changes. She gives a very thrilling narration right down to the hurt and pain of one evil cousin and the man who lives to protect her. She puts a lot of emotion into the characters you have no trouble seeing the scenes in your mind as it holds you attention. I thought her performance was wonderful.
