The author gives you another delightful story which is a great addition to this series. It is full of twists and turns that keeps your attention. We met Mark in the last book now we meet his ex-wife who hooked up with a no good who she divorces. Now she is on her own with her children, having a one night stand with a man who can’t forget her and follows her to where she lives. She isn’t ready for this, but he isn’t giving up. He is determined to show her just how much she can depend on him, he will never let her down. Then the unthinkable happens when her baby is kidnapped he is her rock, I doubt she would have been able to deal with all the issues if not for him.

It was hard for me to get into Alison character she had a good man, cheated on him, married a man who doesn’t want child. He didn’t mind having one that was not a baby but sure didn’t want a baby, he truly loved his stepson. He left because she got pregnant putting all the blame on her. I do have to say the character does feel realistic. She does remind me of a few women I have known over the years. I never understood them either. What is there not to like about Johnny? He has charm, style, dependable, caring, loving and very much a hunk. I fell in love with him from the start. He does have a few issues like taking on the blame for things that wasn’t his fault but that just makes him more my kind of man.

The narrator did a great job pulling the reader in showing true emotions and making it feel like you were watching a movie in your mind. Her character voices were outstanding from male to female you knew who was talking and what they were feeling. There were no repeating of words, no volume changes just a very clear audio you get lost in. I thought her performance was wonderful. She really brought the story to life for me giving me hours of enjoyment. I look forward to listening to more of her work.

I thought it had a great story line, loved the plot and the twists and turns that come with it. The story is very realistic and pulls you in giving you a very entertaining story I could not put down. The author had no trouble holding my attention giving another page turner I couldn’t put down. I thought it was well written and really keeps the reader's attention. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

The story was great it holds your attention giving you a thrilling exciting read, the danger is real when you have a stalker and an abusive ex who has been looking for you for more years than you can count. The story has a little of everything from romance to thrills and chills. I doubt you can read this and not have it touch you in some way. From the first page the author has you hooked from a brutal attack of violence and it doesn’t let up. One man see it and tries to help the victim only to have his lights punched out for his help which was cute and funny at the same time but very heartbreaking. At times the story is funny but for the most part it is action filled with one woman on the run as three men hunt her down. began with action and end with it, what a great read full of suspense that keeps your heart beating fast what a thrilling read I could not put down. It is a romance with suspense, action, and thrills but it is so much more the author gives you a wonderful story of strength, fears and overcoming them along with courage to stand up and be accounted for as well as starting over, learning how to trust and love again. It is about an abusive relationship, running for your life, learning to live again and start over.

The narrators normal voice is wonderful as well as her character voices however when she goes into character is sounds like she backed off the mic, at first I thought she did this when the character was thinking which would have been find, but she does this whenever a character is talking and then goes back to her normal voice which is spoken like everyone does. This was so distracting that I had a hard time trying to finish the audio. The only thing that kept me holding on was the story line and wanting to know how it ended. I really hate giving a bad review and only pick the books I think I can give a good one on however that is not the case with this narrator. Had I listened to this one first I most likely would not have listened to book 2 which I really enjoyed. This would be a great audio if the characters would all be in the same volume as the rest of the book. With that said I do have to say the narrator does give true emotions that you can feel, both her female and male characters are great if only they didn’t change in volume. There are no repeating of wording, the music was great and felt like it fit. The only issues I have is the volume change when in character other than that it was a good audio.

The author gives a powerful story that keeps you on the edge pulling you in giving you a compelling read that you can’t put down. I really wish I had bought the book and not the audio. Again the second audio of this series is much better and I truly enjoyed it. I really liked the characters even though I thought Mark was a little over powering but that is his nature and I do come to love his caring way. Would I want him as my boyfriend NO he is to controlling in a good way and so caring. I thought this was very well written, loved the plot and the way the author laid it out. I was in the authors palms from the first page to the last. It really was a book I couldn’t put down giving me a thrilling suspenseful read that I crave. I had no problem picturing the scenes in my mind watching the attack, feeling her fear and terror was not something I will forget anytime soon. Sarah has a lot on her plate and doesn’t know how to do anything but run, she has a crazy mother that really needs to get her act together and a delightful brother who I adored. Just a normal family with major issues that she must overcome. It is hard to read this story and not want to pull her out of the page taking her way and letting her heal. It is a very touching read that will stay with you for a long time. Very well written with great characters and a wonderful plot filled with danger, chills, thrills and excitement but also very sad. It is pulls on your heart making you want to finish it to know what happens. Has humor, passion and overcoming one's past, starting love only to have to start over again. Has a great ending that will leave you smiling.

Lord I don’t know how I forgot to write a review on this wonderful, delightful story. I guess I was so excited and thrilled to find a new author that I loved so much. This is where it all begins, Walter the cop comes to life after many days and dreams of what Walter wants to do with his life he decides he wants to become a cop, being able to bring justice to people and bring the bad guy in. As with life things never go the way you think they will, justice isn't always easy and sometime just a little over the top, things can go wrong in an instant. Walter is a retired Realtor and up in years, when looking into to this he finds he is to old, his bones don’t work the way they use to, and he won’t meet the requirements. He is heartbroken until the day they find it might be a good idea to have some form of cop at his age. He must go through the hoops, go through the fires before he can become something of a cop assistant. There were times when my mouth hung open and I closed my eyes as he and the men beside him go through the pains but at the same time I could stop myself from laughing. Walter has a dry sense of humor that is right up my alley. I fell in love with Walter almost from the first page. It was a thrilling, exciting, dangerous, wonderful listen that has a little of everything between these pages. Once you start this series you won’t be able to read/listen to just one.

Mr Kuch is a wonderful narrator from his male to female voices you are captivated, he really brings Walter to life with his dry humor that fits him to a T. Each of his character voice really fit what I picture the character to sound like which makes it very easy to picture them in your mind. I had no trouble picturing the danger, ribbing, humor and excitement as it unfolds. There are no background noise, no repeating of words and no volume changes. He brings true emotions to his characters you can feel the power of the excitement, danger, thrills, and humor along with the dry humor of dear old Walter. I cannot tell you just how thrilling this audio was and how much I enjoyed his work. The narrator knows how to bring you the thrills, excitement that holds your attention from the first page until the last. I really can’t wait to listen to more of this series from him.

I really didn’t know what to expect when I picked this up to start listening. To be honest I had been putting it off for some time. I really thought it was going to be boring but to be honest it is anything but. I love how the author twist wording to come up with things you would never have thought of in that context which really makes it more humorous. My son and I have the same sense of humor, and I am sure he would love this series. I can even see his wife enjoying it. This is a clean story base but does have passion and a little romance but not as you know it. Which makes it even more thrilling to be able to have a family and teens that can read it and have something to talk about. It is a series that both of the sexes will enjoy. There are tons of excitement, danger, and even a few thrills with a twist that you don’t see coming. I was hooked from the first page until the end and loved it so much I bought the next book in the series. I love Walter and all the characters, they bring so much to the story line. The author and narrator really know how to pull the listener in giving a very highly entertain listen that captivates you with a story you can’t put down. I can’t tell you just how much I truly enjoyed this.

I so love this series the author put delightful fun romance with a twist and keeps it very clean but you still feel the passion. Each book is filled with off the wall humor that makes you laugh, chuckle and roll your eyes. It is one of the most delightful series I have listened to in a long time. With each new story the author makes me want more and I can’t wait to listen to the next one. Danger, thrills, adventure of an old man who wanted to become a cop but had no idea it would be this dangerous or exciting. You get a little of everything from drag queens, cross dress along with the mob that wants land and is willing to kill to get it. You have murder, near death as the hunt is on to bring down the mob and all that have anything to do with it. Walter, his friends and their cop buddies will keep you laughing as they bring Elvis back to life, finding the mystery of who is behind the killing and who wants the building. It is a thrilling, exciting, dangerous listen that pulled me in from the first page.

I am so thrilled to have found this author he knows how to pull the reader in from the thrills, to danger to his wonderful humor along with his weird sense of humor that keeps you laughing but at the same time holding your breath as near death takes over and the thrills of Walter humor once he gets out of the mess he gets into. I love all the characters and what they bring to the stories. This series is truly a work of art that holds your attention from the first page until the last. I never want one of his stories to end and can’t wait until the next one takes off. If you want a truly delightful series to read this is the one for you. I have found you can’t go wrong with one if this authors books.

What a great exciting, thrilling, heart stopping listen. Be prepared for holding on to your seat action with mouth dropping scenes that will shock you and make you stop and thinking. One of the best psychological thriller that I have listened to in a long time. It is amazing what one can do to make one look guilty when one isn’t. People will go to great extremes to get what they want as the author shows what one will do and how far they will go. Tyler has had a hard life as his story unfolds your heart goes out to so many of the family members, so many feel guilty of the part they played in it. The story is mostly around the murders, Andrew Kane and one man who wants to take him down. Andrew is a man who lives his life with truth, justice and wants what is best for his city. He has giving his heart and soul to be the best major he can be. All that changed with one murder and his brother’s arrest. How far will a family go to help a brother they aren’t sure is innocent? Between these pages you will find the answers that sometimes even when you are on the good side you make tough decisions that could bring you to your knees.

I have never listened to anything by this narrator and was very impressed. He had no problem at all pulling me in from the first few minutes. His character voices are outstanding, he gives true emotions keeping the listener spellbound and painting a picture that stays with you for a long time. His male and female character voices are great you always know who is talking and what they are feeling. You can hear the anger, excitement shock and disbelief in his voice. He made me feel like I was part of the story and I had no trouble picturing each scene as it unfolds. There are no background noises, no volume changes, it is a very clear audio that takes you away making you want to cover your eyes. This is one narrator that had me in the palm of his hand from the first I started listening. It is truly an audio that you don’t want to miss. I am really looking forward to listening to more of his work.

I was truly held spellbound as the author took me on a ride that scared the heck out of me. I really liked the characters and what they stand for as well as how they dealt with the issues. You could tell the author spent a lot of time thinking this plot out covering every area keeping you guessing to the outcome. Just when you think it may work out he throws another twist in the works as he spins a story that leaves you breathless and feeling for so many. Here you will find thrills, suspense and chills like you have never seen. The author puts the characters through hell as he gives them the ultimate test of family or career. Which will be more important? Will they lose those values they hold so dear or will they give into demands to keep their brother save and free from a life in prison. I loved this book so much I have picked it as one of my favorite reads of this year and bought a few more along with the audios. I can’t wait to start them. You really should give this story a try you won’t be disappointed.

It started out slow but if you give it time it all falls together giving you an interesting twist that you don’t see coming. The author takes you back in time to War World II two young people meet fall in love, get married, one is shipped out to fly planes and the other goes back to her husbands home. Things are not easy for the woman she is way out of her element living in a big house with money she doesn’t know what to do with and a father-in-law who isn’t thrilled having her as a daughter-in-law. This couple has a plan, that is until his plane goes down and life as she knows it changes forever. Move ahead many years the woman is now old and has died but what is the mystery around her life and how is it tied into the death of another young woman who has everything she could ever want.

Ms. Tedesco did a wonderful delightful job of narration giving true emotion that you can feel to the characters. You know what each one is going through and just what they are feeling. I loved how her voices all blended together naturally giving each character their own personality that worked well with the story. I felt each complimented the other why pulling you in giving you a story you couldn’t put down. There are no background noises or any repeats of words it is a very clean, clear audio that held me spellbound. The audio volume is even throughout with no high or low places. If any breaks were taken I could not tell. I loved the emotion Ms. Tedesco puts in her voice never leaving you guessing what each person is feeling from anger to happiness she hits each one right on the mark. She knows how to deliver a great listen that holds your attention and leaves you with wanting more. Her voice is very pleasant pulling you in painting a picture you can see in your mind as each scene unfolds giving you a wonderful compelling listen. I very much look forward to listening to more of her work.

At first, I thought the author was putting too much filler in the story. I kept thinking what does that have to do with this. I have to say it all ties in nicely giving you a shocking story that will stay with you for some time to come. There are many twists, some with a darker side that will leave you thinking what oh my lord, how terrible. As you are taken back in time you feel the pain of people from long ago and how one persons evil will change the lives of so many for many years to come. The author gives you mystery, evil, deaths, and so much more as she twists her words right into your heart. Once she brings on the mystery she had me in the palm of her hand with a story I couldn’t put down. It was so wonderful, unique and intriguing that I have picked it as one of my favorite listens for this year.

We met Luke before when his bride left him standing all alone broken hearted and not understanding what just happen. This is his story and his race to find his happy ever after with one foot in his mouth and the other high tailing it to get his women back after a few misunderstandings. Both Luke and Jamie are broken souls both wanting a family and someone they can call their own. Jamie is a little on the wild side and not what you would call you normal lady but that is ok with Luke just not some other family members. Things are looking up that is until she meets his parents and as we all know mother-in-laws can be a hard pill to swallow. Things start going downhill as Luke finds his self in one mess after another.

Jamie isn’t well liked at all, women are jealous of her for many reason. She isn’t looking for a love match she had a wonderful marriage she just wants someone who will take care of her, give her a family and be her friend but most of all to take her like she is. Luke is ready to try again but this time he isn’t looking for love he just wants a partner someone to have a family with. Both got more than they asked for and gave us the reader lots of laughs as well as a little sorrow.

Westward Fortune
The author covers a lot of issues from abuse, as well as two old men who are very unhappy and take it out on those they should love, starting over, learning what love is and what the important things in life are. Lacey needs to get out of town and away from her abusive father, when an ad come in the paper knowing she can be close to her friend she jumps at the chance. Joe wants out from under his hateful father’s hands, but he needs to be able to buy him out. To do that he must get married to get the money left to him by his mother. This is where the story gets very interesting from jealousy to broken hearts as danger comes near a lot is lost in a few minutes which will change the lives of so many.

Lacey’s story is so sad my heart really went out to her, the one thing I wish we would have seen was how her father took her leaving once he found out she was gone. Maybe we will see that in future books. Everything is going so well for them until something happens that leaves their future in turmoil. I felt the pain and sorrow but felt Lacey may have over reacted a little, I did understand why she was upset but felt she might have been thinking more of herself and putting her feelings first. Joe is something else with his sweet-talking ways that gets him into a little trouble and makes it hard to outlive his reputation. He has some back paddling to do to win the love of the woman he can’t live without. He is smooth, a gentleman, a charmer, and has a wick sense of humor.
Westward Justice
Sammie is a different kind of women she truly stands alone, strong, demanding, she is out to prove she is as good as any man. When Deputy Taylor posts the ad for a woman whose strong, independent women Sammie jumps right in. Once she hits town she shakes it up long with Deputy Taylor. This was a very exciting, thrilling and adventures read that grabs your attention giving the read lots of smiles, laughs and a few drop jaw moments. I totally loved it. Very well written and thrilling I couldn’t put it down.

Overall:
I thought these stories were well written, the author gives you both sides making you feel both their pains as well as the turmoil that goes with it. They are very entertaining and holds your attention. There is a little bit of everything from romance, broken hearts and danger. You get to see the past characters they play a big role though-out each story. It was so nice to see them and see the changes they have made. I can’t wait to read more of this series. The author fills it with pain and sorrow but with humor. Even my husband who hates listening to audios laughed a few times as we were painting the house.

The narrator does a wonderful job delivering true emotions to the story, you always know who is talking and just what that are feeling. There are no repeating of words, no background noise just a truly enjoyable listen that pulls you in. His normal voice is very pleasant as well as his character voices, his voice is easy to listen to and gave me many hours of enjoyment. He made me feel the pain and sorrow each character is going through as well as the excitement and danger that comes with this story. With his narration he made me understand why some people act the way they do and that not everything is as it seems. For me he bought this story to life making it easy to picture each scene as it was happening. His performance was top of the line pulling me in giving me a listen I couldn’t put down. If you haven’t listened to any of his audios you don’t know what you are missing.

I totally fell in love with this book and the characters that are between the pages. The start is sad and brings a tear to your eye, it doesn’t take long for the danger to come with noises in the dark, accidents that happen it makes you start to believe in ghost. There is rumor of a treasure to be found inside the walls of this old house. It seems someone is willing to kill to get it. As the author took me on a journey of danger I found myself holding my breath and at one time my phone rang I about jumped out of my skin. The plot thickens more characters are added to it making you wonder who could be behind it all. I kept guessing what the treasure was but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It is a delightful listen that held my attention and captive me from the start.

I have not listened to anything by this narrator I thought she did a great job, loved her character voices and the emotion she gives them. Her normal voice is pleasant as well as each character she brings to life. She truly made me believe in the danger, excitement, and even gave me a few chills. The audio was clear, no background noises, there were two places words were repeated, I think that is when she took a break. It did not take away from the audio at all, and she had no trouble pulling me back in. There was one male character I wasn’t too crazy about his voice but I did grow to love it as the story went long. The rest of them I loved from the start, she really put emoition into the characters, pausing when she needed to. Her tones were right even her old voices were delightful. I had no trouble believing what I was listening to. I thought her performance was outstanding.

I loved the twists and turns the author gives us, she had me fooled almost until the end. There were things I didn’t see coming and a lot of surprises that were exciting, thrilling and dangerous. In all honesty the author had me in the palm of her hand almost from the first page. I loved how she captive my attention and held it. I really didn’t want the story to end. A very believable and honest story that pulls you in making you believe what you are listening to. I just could not put it down and listened to this almost at one setting. I loved the characters and the romance between the two main ones. The cat is adorable and I do feel it is there for a reason. The mystery grabs you and keep a hold of you throughout the story. It truly was a delightful listen I can’t wait to listen to more of this author work.
