Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Ellen is amazing, hilarious, and clever. This book is lacking, even with all of her clever lines, it was lacking substance. Came off like a book of randomly places jokes.

Would you be willing to try another book from Ellen DeGeneres? Why or why not?

I hope her earlier books are better.

Did Seriously...I'm Kidding inspire you to do anything?

She has some good lines, makes me wish I could make jokes as interesting as hers.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have recommended this book to everyone! I have not read anything so well put together, so clear, so well-structured and so HELPFUL!

Ever have 10 people tell you the same thing, and then finally one of them says it in just the right way that the light goes off in your head? Tracy did that for me! It was as if all of the things I was trying to understand finally made sense.

I am in my late 20's, a few failed relationships behind me, really wanting to take responsibility for my part of their failure. Tracy's book was amazing. I think I fall into nearly every category she lists. I am now more clear about what I need to work on about myself and my goals for a future relationship. The best part is, she has made all of the same mistakes, so you don't feel like she is being rude or judgmental, just trying to pass off some amazing wisdom. And it is amazing!

What other book might you compare Why You're Not Married... Yet to and why?

Power of Now and New Earth had the spiritual side that she is talking about but not necessarily about relationships.

Which scene was your favorite?

The whole book. I have listened to it numerous times!

Any additional comments?

MUST READ!!!

This was one of my first contacts with Buddhist thought in such depth so for that reason I see it as ultimately the best beginner place there is.

Since listening to Eckhart Tolle I have listened to many others and still feel Tolle broke through to me and felt like a great spring board into the ideas. However you get there, right?

Peaceful and insightful his voice takes some getting used to but is worth it.

Have you listened to any of Eckhart Tolle’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have to speed up his audio cause he can speak too slowly. 1.25

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

If you are a psychotherapist and want insight into using Buddhism for your practice, this might be a good read for you.

If you are a Buddhist who doesn't want psychotherapy but you want an argument for going anyway, this might work.

For me, I found it interesting but unconvincing for my life. I felt he spent most of the time justifying why Buddhism and psychotherapy make good partners and I still only partially agree. I think those in psychotherapy would benefit from Buddhist thought but rarely the other way around.

Did Thoughts Without a Thinker inspire you to do anything?

Not really

Would you listen to Abiding in Mindfulness, Vol. 3 again? Why?

His voice is great, his pace is perfect. I listened while driving, running, walking, cleaning. he doesn't pause much for though so sometimes I stopped to write a quote or bookmark something. It is dense enough that once I listened to 10 minutes before realizing I clicked on his other book, one I already read. I will definitely listen again in a few months and im sure I will pick up more info.

He is humorous and easy to follow. I loved it!

What did you like best about this story?

Everything! Great insight into Buddhism for westerners
