This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I don't know. The book offended me on so many levels. I couldn't finish it.

Has The Dangerous Type turned you off from other books in this genre?

No. It wasn't the genre. I know homosexuality exists and I have no wish to tell anyone how to live their life. I just would like to know before I pick out a book that the main character is homosexual. I can handle the side-kicks just not the main character. I'm not interested in reading or listening to explicit details about homosexuality.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Didn't listen to enough of it to be able to say.

What character would you cut from The Dangerous Type?

The main character.

Be careful what you wish for! When Buddy Pancake and his drinking buddies stumble across the Wish List website, they jokingly post their "impossible" wishes. Imagine their surprise when, one by one, the wishes start coming true! But Buddy and his pals neglected to read the fine print explaining the price they must pay for the wishes they've been granted. Wish List is a compelling, nail-biting, laugh-out-loud thriller in the tradition of Saving Rachel.

What did you love best about Separation of Power?

The story was solid and exciting. However, I really disliked Mitch's girl friend. She came across as very immature.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Separation of Power?

The killing Clark.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

This narrator did not really feel this character. He was too frantic, too excitable. His narration made it hard for me to finish the book. He should probably do comedies or lighter fair. Mitch Rapp is a dark, dangerous man and the narrator did not capture this at all.

Where does Queen of the Flowers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I listen and read to relax. This book is great for easy listening and enjoying a story. Ms. Fisher is what many of us women secretly wish we were. Confident, totally independent, apologising to no one for who she is.

What did you like best about this story?

It's dependability, and humor. Even discussing a very real and grusome situation it was still enjoyable and never became maudelin.

Have you listened to any of Stephanie Daniel’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She is great as Phrynie Fisher. I don't believe I have heard any other recordings of her work.

Very disapointing. The witty sarcastic, funny character of Dresden turned in to a whinny, introspective, person that I didn't care anything about. There was very little of the snap and banter between the chacters that you usually see in these books. The change in narrator's really didn't help. While this narrator is probably very good, he is not Harry Dresden. He was not able to deliver any of the lines with the snap, and punch of Dresden.
