Andy Peterson made an enemy out of William Maxwell, a billionaire who is the epitome of leading men in romance stories for many - ridiculously enough. If it were up to her, she wouldn't have to deal with him at all. Unfortunately, he is one of the most powerful men in the city, which means he can crush her like a bug if he wants to. And just when things are about to take a turn for the worse, she gets help from the most unlikely source.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I have read the books out of order so compared to the others, this one was a little flat. The story line was not that interesting and truthfully you could skip this one and not miss anything in the series.

What was most disappointing about Laurann Dohner’s story?

It really didn't have a story line and the hype regarding the love interest was not that intriguing. These character just didn't appeal to me. It appears that the author was a little confused as to how to develop the plot and the characters.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I really enjoyed the first book in the series and was excited to follow the path of these two unconventional lovers. Book two in the series seemed rushed just words on paper and a plot not well thought out. The story line was poor and did not seem to pick up until the very end - just in time to hook in you for book three. Hope it gets better. My advice skip book 2 you will not miss anything important that you can't pick up in book 3.
