The continuation of Dennis Prager's bestselling five-part commentary, The Rational Bible. Why do so many people think the Bible, the most influential book in world history, is outdated? Why do our friends and neighbors - and sometimes we ourselves - dismiss the Bible as irrelevant, irrational, immoral, or all of these things? This explanation of the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, will demonstrate that the Bible is not only powerfully relevant to today’s issues, but completely consistent with rational thought.

I have listened to Dennis Prager for 30 years, bought one of his books, and have seen him grow in his acceptance of Christians. I've always respected his logical and moral sensibilities and Bible knowledge, so when I heard he had written two commentaries on the Torah, I was I was immediately interested.

I was not disappointed. He brought many insights to Genesis from Jewish tradition to my attention. Most of it fit perfectly with my own understanding of ancient history and Judaism, but added more color and historical context that I hadn't yet appreciated.

I would love to see Dennis accept the messiahship of Jesus Christ someday. But at least I know Christians have a true ally in Dennis Prager in defending ethical monotheism from the increasingly nasty attacks from athists/secularists.

An eminent scientist and pioneer in the discovery of retroviruses challenges the widely accepted belief that HIV is the cause of AIDS. Duesberg argues that HIV is merely a harmless passenger virus that does not cause AIDS. Sure to spark intense debate, this provocative book offers an original and incisive critique of the rise and fall of HIV.

I read this book years ago and recently listened again because it was so powerful. I'm not a medical professional, and I have no stake in this debate other than insatiable curiosity and respect for truth, logic, and actual science. This book is powerfully written, researched, and footnoted. It will open your eyes to the fundamental flaws in the HIV/AIDS hypothesis.

Listened almost straight through. This was an excellent breakdown of the facts, key players, and timelines of the Russian collusion narrative. Trump was clearly set up, first to try to defeat him in the election, and when that didn't work, to try to impeach him. People need to go to prison for some of these things.

This concise guide is filled with sidebars and memorizable steps to help Christians stand their ground and defend their faith with reason and precision. In his engaging style, Dr. Craig offers four arguments for God's existence, defends the historicity of Jesus' personal claims and resurrection, addresses the problem of suffering, and shows why religious relativism doesn't work. Along the way, he shares his story of following God's call in his own life.

I've been resding, listening to, and watching William Lane Craig for several years. I finally decided to purchase this audio book just to deepen my knowledge and critical thinking skills for apologetics conversations. It was well worth it. This book covers all the major points I've heard by listening to his material over the years, but it's all in one place, and in a more organized fashion than having to Google individual topics to get his thinking on a subject. I'll listen to this more than once.

But how do you find out when the time comes if you will be able to pull the trigger? I want to prepare you mentally and physically, and I want you to know all the laws that may affect you - along with making you a master of concealed carry where you are comfortable, confident, and will know when and how to use it if the time ever comes.

I found this guide helpful as an introduction to defensive concealed carry of a firearm. Although a lifetime shooting sports enthusiast, life member of the NRA, and defender of the 2nd Amendment, I only started carrying later in life. I felt I needed to increase my knowledge and training in this area to be more effective should I be called upon to defend myself or others, and this guide was definitely helful. The author addressed a lot of important subjects, like choice of firearm and round, how to select a concealed holster that's right for you, and recommended shooting posture/grip. Of course, none of this information will substitute for more time at the range.

Over 4,000 students gathered at the University of Michigan to hear Republican Party candidate Ron Paul speak. As he began to address the topics of monetary policy and the coming depression, a chant rose from the crowd, "End the Fed! End the Fed!" As dollar bills were lit on fire and thrown into the night skies, it became clear that the real problem, one that nobody in the media was talking about, was the central bank-an unconstitutional entity and a political, economic, and moral disaster.

In trying to understand the atom, physicists built quantum mechanics, the most successful theory in science and the basis of one-third of our economy. They found, to their embarrassment, that with their theory, physics encounters consciousness. Authors Bruce Rosenblum and Fred Kuttner explain all this in nontechnical terms with help from some fanciful stories and anecdotes about the theory's developers. They present the quantum mystery honestly, emphasizing what is and what is not speculation.

As a theist looking for accurate information on quantum theory to better understand the arguments of the New Atheist movement, this book delivered. The authors (both quantum physics professors) are clearly unbiased, scientifically literate, and philosophically grounded. They don't take a position on theism, but present the science fairly, warts and all, thoroughly addressing the philosophical dilemmas quantum theory implies. I highly recommend this book.
