So cheesy I’m embarrassed reading it. Had to stop reading it. Gave it a couple chances and I just can’t...

Took forever to get into it but once I did, I was glad I stuck through it. Good book!

A hidden message, treachery, opposition, and a God-given success, will lead to an unlikely bounty. The scribe Sarah married Darius, and at times she feels as if she has married the Persian aristocracy too. But there is another thing she did not expect in her marriage - Sarah has grown to love her husband. She has wealth, property, honor, and power, yet securing her husband's love seems unattainable.

I loved the narrator of this book. She made it feel as if I was watching a movie without the images. She mimicked the men's voices as well as she did the women's.
The story itself was very interesting and beautiful. when the author talked about God in the book, I found that I could relate and also felt the power of God even in the story because that's how it is in real life.
This book is more focused on clean romance than God but it was very well written and I enjoyed it tremendously.
