In December of 2011, I gave a talk to an audience of scientists, Pentagon officials, politicians, and CEOs on the secret of life and how I'd figured it out the previous summer. Afterward, people came up individually and told me how much what I'd shared meant to them. This book is based on the truth I spoke about. It's something I learned from within myself, something I believed saved me. And more than that, the way I set about to do it. This is a collection of thoughts on what I learned, what worked, what didn't. Where I succeed and importantly, where I fail daily.

I loved the genuine, matter of fact, real from the heart writing style of Kamal. Despite the breifness of the book, if put into practice, it is extremely powerful. I have been in thi self-love. unconditional self-acceptance path for some years now, and have been teaching it to others, however, I have felt like Kamal shared in a later chapter, and this book has breathed new inspiration in me to move me forward on this life-long path of personal growth. Thank you! Jamal and all who contributed to making this book a reality💖

Sometimes it feels as if the more we talk, the less we are heard. But in groundbreaking research, Andrew Newberg, M.D., and Mark Robert Waldman have discovered a powerful strategy called Compassionate Communication that allows two brains to work together as one. In twelve clear steps, Compassionate Communication actually changes our brain structure — as well as the brain of the person we are talking to — in a way that helps establish a bond between people. In this unique state — free from conflict and distrust — we can communicate more effectively, listen more deeply, collaborate without effort, and succeed more quickly at any task. Using data collected from MBA students, couples in therapy, caregivers, and brain scans, Newberg and Waldman have seen again and again that Compassionate Communication can transform a difficult conversation into a deeply satisfying one, literally in a matter of a few minutes.Whether you are negotiating with your boss or your employees, arguing with your spouse, or coping with your kids, Compassionate Communication is a simple and unbeatable way to achieve a win-win dialogue to help you reach your goals. With its clear prescription and proven results, Words Can Change Your Brain will change how you think and speak to virtually everyone.

Where does The Seat of the Soul rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Seat of The Soul ranks number one as I listen to this book read by the author, my soul resonates with most every concept. I simply want to share it with the world in whatever way they can receive it, because it is pure unadulterated truth!

What other book might you compare The Seat of the Soul to and why?

The SOS, for me compares to the Bible, as I was a fervent student of the bible for some twenty five years, an yet many question went unanswered. I trecked to Israel and delved into the Hebraic roots of the bible, all of which prepared me to appreciate the message of the SOS. It certainly left no unanswered questions that I couldn't get from God directly.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

There were no artificial characters. The book is about you and your soul's purpose for being. And I enjoyed every moment of every 25+ chapters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The emotion I feel when listening to this book is a flood of joy in my heart.
