I was thrilled to read this because I LOVED the Lunar Chronicles, but this story was so boring. I would recommend passing on this one, maybe rent it for free if you are interested, but not worth a credit.

Together, they're plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and prevent her army from invading Earth. Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl trapped on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she's being forced to work for Queen Levana, and she's just received orders to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

This was my least favorite book in the series. I struggled to get through it, and often had to rewind because I would lose interest and become distracted. I only finished because it was part of the series. Maybe I just don't like the fair tale story of Rapunzel so I couldn't get into this.

Second book from the Lunar Chronicles. I didn't enjoy this story as much as Cinder, but I did like the additional characters. I found it harder to follow this story line. I can't put my finger on why. You definitely need to read Cinder first.

Book one was my favorite in the series, which is a first for me. I really loved Cinder's story, and I felt like it was paced well enough while also giving time for character development. I think it could be a stand alone book as well if you don't want to finish out the entire series. Although, I highly recommend reading all of them!! This is one of my favorite book series. Marissa does an amazing job at paying homage to the classic fairy tales while still being very original with the story.

I LOVE RP1 - it is one of the best books I've ever read. So, naturally, I thought that Armada would be equally as amazing, but unfortunately, it was not. It was predictable. Didn't take long before I knew what the ending would be. I had no connection to the characters. I think it had potential, but ended up feeling like an Ender's Game knock-off. If it was written by anyone beside Ernest Cline, it would have been rated much lower, but I like his work most of the time, and do believe he is talented. You could always enjoy it more than I did.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.
