There is no such thing as a good or bad discipline. There is only a trained discipline and an untrained discipline. Imagine how you would feel if you woke up everyday, knowing that everyday is going to be a great day. And I do not mean a good day or a fine day. I mean a great day, each and every single day. Imagine how you would be breathing, how you would be standing, and how you would be feeling.

Evan Scott is my new favorite author. I love his books. Daily Self Discipline is a short, concise, easy to listen. He packs this book with helpful ideas on how we can monitor and control ourselves. After listening Daily Discipline, I finally feel I stand a much better chance of getting some of these self-defeating habits under control to start achieving my goals (if I follow his suggestions). Inspiring.

I have listen a lot of books in the self-help field. I like this one particularly because Evan has a kind and friendly way of writing, and because the questions he presents genuinely inspired me to look at what I was passionate about in a new way.

If you continue to think the same thoughts, you'll continue to have the same results. Using the questions in Evan's book, I found a few insights so I could think in a different way about creating my passion. That is priceless.

I recommend this book to anyone who feels stuck, and is willing to ask themselves questions. Evan gives good examples so it is easy to follow along -- just put in the time. I also recommend this book to coaches looking for insightful questions to ask their clients. There is much here that can lead anyone to a more exciting, vibrant, and satisfying life

This is one of the must listens on anyone's listening list. Along with a few others - The Little Prince/Alchemist,This is a marquee book that transcends other academics and correlates with all aspects of life across multiple relationships within marriages, friendships, family, friends and the workplace. For those struggling in marriages, there's actually a pretty decent section on this, which frankly, would foretell divorces. And for those struggling with parenting 'troubled' kids, this is just as insightful. The one marshmallow now vs. later study was popularized by THIS book into our everyday masses. A little bit of everything for everyone, with a scientific approach, way ahead of its time.

Kyle Faber’s latest release on accelerated learning and memorization techniques is well written, easily understood and most importantly instantly actionable with on the spot results! In his inimitable conversational style, Kyle Faber drew me in from the outset, as I found myself reaching for a pen and putting into practice one of the simpler techniques that help us become faster liseners and therefore learners. I fell into it and listen the whole chapter.

“Most of us know what we need to learn but we don’t know how to learn” and then Kyle shows you how. Chapter by chapter he introduces you to a different learning technique, giving a synopsis of that technique with instructions on how to apply it. There are enough techniques in this book to cover every style of learning and while there is heavy emphasis on preparation

Accelerated Learning is a book for everyone : for you if you are just beginning and want to learn faster, retain more and improve your life performance, for you if you are already a fast learner the material in this book will help sharpen your senses. Yes! Five Stars!

I would definitely give 10 star if I could. Fell in love with this book. It was a great and easy listen. Software Engineers can easily relate to the topics discussed in the book. I was just curious if the author really intended the Software Engineers to be the primary audience. Even for a different audience, he has given enough overview to make them love the concepts he talks about. Well written. I would definitely listen this book again.
