I didn't find this one very suspenseful, thrilling, etc. The story was weak and the narration was anemic.

An interesting concept but a less interesting story. Was a bit slow at times and very good at times. Good enough for me to recommend that you give it a try.

Michael Connelly always delivers. It took a while for this new character to grow on me. But she's tough and smart and takes no crap from her colleagues. The narration was ok. I've listened to bad narration and this one is not bad. But it's good enough. A solid thumbs up.

I almost gave up on this one due to the political preachiness, but I stayed with it and I'm glad I did. An outstanding thriller that keeps you guessing until the end.

Love the story and the main character. The narration was ok but the production was a little sub par. I also prefer just one narrator. This has one for male characters and one for female characters. I still give it a thumbs up.

Connelly never disappoints. It took me few chapters to get used to Williver narrating but by the end I thought he was great! The story was a little different with 2 story lines but it worked masterfully.

I've read the first 2 books in the John Milton series. 1st was good, 2nd was great. Nothing like a hero with flaws and a checkered past.

This book looks at the potential evolution of terrorism into something even more scary and dangerous. For the first half of the book you see the story unfold through three different perspectives. I don't read many like that so I found it interesting. The characters were very real. People whose lives had taken unexpected turns, people who were vulnerable yet very strong. And the narration was superb.
