Okay, here we go. Another what if and another doomsday thing.
I like the idea, I like the last say four hours of this book. My general problem with it is just that it’s somewhat slow and excruciating in the beginning. Not that I don’t understand why they need to cover all bases to make sure the book makes sense, it still kinda doesn’t. Maybe it all will make better sense when we get the rest of the story (two more books if I’m not wrong) but for now I’m slightly disappointed considering the teaser that was out a month ago was so good. I feel like we learned a lot more about Eve than Bram, yet it’s disappointing because they made her “feel like she wanted to be deep” but then felt about as deep as a kiddie pool. I am intrigued by Bram, and HOPE we get to hear more about him. For now I’m gonna try to give it another shot in a couple of months in hope to get more out of it. If they keep it up they made a good story, they have the potential to be the next big triology out there - and with that there comes a lot of possibilities. Giovanna and Tom are both wonderful writers, I just hope the characters get a little more personality.
I’m definitely keeping this book and trying the next one, even though I’m over the age it’s aimed at - they might just surprise us with a killer series in the end.

I honestly loved this book. I don’t necessarily think it’s made for my age group at all, but it was heartwarming!
If you’re like me and love books that gives you a happy and fuzzy feeling, I 100% recommend it. It’s a bit slow, it’s not action packed - but it’s in many ways very real. A novel worth a good sit down with the crochet hook!
I’m in no way great at writing reviews, but as a girl that loves happy endings - this was a good book. I hope many other people get the same joy from it that I did!

This book had been preordered for ages, and I was taken by surprise when I late last night found it just waiting to be downloaded in my library. Of course I was stupid enough to start listening, and now I find myself about 7 hours later still awake and to be perfectly honest with tear stains on my pillow. I'm a big baby when it comes to books, but I was not prepared for the amount of crying I did!

With that said I thought this was a beautiful end to a beautiful series I have been following for years. Kiera Cass has a way of writing that captures me, and makes me want more. Believe me I would love to hear what comes after, but it seems that this really was the end.

Anybody who loves this series would probably enjoy "the lone city" series as well - but this is amazingly captivating. Kiera Cass, thank you for sharing such wonderful stories.

This family is some kinky and attractive people it seems. Four books in this series done, and I honestly still think that there is too much sex but at the same time this particular book does have a bit more of the other parts! I do enjoy the storylines so I can recommend the books! Start with the first book, you feel like you know the characters a lot better!
