I liked the story, but found it distracting that this is a book written in the first person, who is male, but it is narrated by a female. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Writers, please let the professionals narrate your books. It’s very frustrating to spend good money on audiobooks, only to be distracted by poor narration.

I did not want this book to end! It seriously left me wanting more. One of the best listening experiences I’ve had, and I’ve had many of them. This book, and it’s Narrator will not disappoint!!

I’m not sure who reads the part of Julie, but she needs to work on the word “said” and other words ending in a vowel, followed by a consonant, especially at the end of a sentence. Her part really gets on my nerves and is very distracting to me.

The story itself is great, though. It is Diane Chamberlain at her best.

First of all, this needed a female narrator. Second, it’s just too goody goody for my taste. If you like a sweet love story with no real life to it, this is for you. If not, don’t bother with this one.

This one left too many ends dangling. It’s one of those books that leaves you with too many questions that will forever go unanswered. I love the series, but this one was just not satisfying for me.

This book would be superb with a narrator who knows how to do a Cajun accent. She is terribly annoying. Plus, she obviously didn't do any research to find out how to pronounce cities in the area. She's just tolerable with the southern accents.

I have two pieces of advice for Kate Baldwin. Learn the art of inflection, and learn to pronounce "Natchez". Do some research on the places you are reading about before attempting this again. I wonder if Mr. Lee has heard the awful way his hometown is pronounced.

It was a good book that could have been much better with a different narrator.

WHY oh why did they add a narrator?? Lorelei King has done a fantastic job with all the other books. I'm used to hearing her superb narration and various voices and accents of each character, including the male characters. This guy might be okay, but NOT FOR THIS BOOK!!!!!

I may have to get my credit back for this one. I really don't think I can make it to the end. Whoever made this decision, they need to be fired!

Extremely predictable, except the very end, which was not at all satisfying. Would not recommend.
