Lea Michele is one of the hardest-working performers in show business. Whether she’s starring as Rachel Berry on Glee, rocking a glamorous look on the red carpet, recording her solo album, or acting as the spokesperson for L’Oreal, Lea is the ultimate multi-tasker. She knows better than anyone that it is difficult to be your best self and keep things in perspective when your to-do list is overflowing and you are faced with challenges, so she’s developed a foolproof system for remaining healthy and centered.

Self-righteous, pious, but mostly just annoying. I thought it was going to be more of an autobiographical book with her journey. However I had to stop after halfway through, I don't want her tips for how to cleanse my face, nurture my body, or moisturize. Even her tone is condescending...save your money.

If you could sum up Awaken the Giant Within in three words, what would they be?

Motivation, Inspiration, Dedication

What other book might you compare Awaken the Giant Within to and why?

I truly think this book stands on its own. It is a shame only the abridged version is available. I own the hardcopy as well and it is one of my favorite books. I will give Anthony Robbins credit to my future success. If you need inspiration for any goal for any aspect of your life this is a must listen.

Have you listened to any of Anthony Robbins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to other Anthony Robbin's performances, he is captivating and passionate. His words have impact and his points are stressed in a memorable way.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

A "want" is no more than a "wish" similar to something Yoda said in an old Star Wars movies, "do or do not..there is no try." If you want something, truly, you will make it happen and will except nothing less. Your focus on your goal will make it your reality.

Any additional comments?

I have read hundreds if not thousands of books, this is the only one that I believe is appropriate for everyone. In my opinion, everyone should read this book and at a minimum, listen to this abridged version!

Would you consider the audio edition of Yes! 50 Secrets from the Science of Persuasion to be better than the print version?

I personally prefer audio versions of books in general as it allows me to multitask. I do not feel that reading a hard cover would have provided any additional benefit.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Yes! 50 Secrets from the Science of Persuasion?

A lot of "common sense" knowledge has been proven false, many of these examples are memorable!

What about Clive Mantle’s performance did you like?

It was fine, nothing special though.

What did you learn from Yes! 50 Secrets from the Science of Persuasion that you would use in your daily life?

This book essentially gives the summary of many studies that have topics related to interpersonal relationships and business. Many of the topics provide insight that can easily be translated into any business role.

Would you listen to The Skinnygirl Rules again? Why?

Yes I would. There are some great tips and don't think that a single listen will suffice.

Who was your favorite character and why?

This is not a novel, but rather a guidebook on how to have your thin and eat your cake too!

What does Bethenny Frankel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I alway enjoy hearing a book read by the author because there is no ambiguity upon where the emphasis is meant to be. Bethenny Frankel articulates well, and as it is a topic she is clearly passionate about, listening to her advice and stories kept my interest from start to finish.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me wonder why I had not considered many of her ideas before! Her advice is sound and easy to implement. It is encouraging to read a book about becoming thin that isn't full of diet plans, calorie counters, and ingredient lists!

Any additional comments?

This is one of those books that I believe anyone that has struggled with dieting should read. It is the best book I have ever read that focuses in on the psychology behind why your diet is the way it is and how to modify it in a way that keeps you satisfied and away from the dreaded binge or "I'll start next week" practices.

What did you like about this audiobook?

I would to The Sales Bible again, in fact I have. There is so much information packed into each chapter I find I can discover a new point to focus on that I maybe did not pay attention to on a prior listening.
It incorporates the basics in everyday language and it also tells the sales professional how to step up his/her game. Jeffry Gitomer doesn't beat around the busy, his points are clear and make sense. I suspect I will listen to this book many more times in the months and years to come.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Selling skills are an essential part of successful business men and women. This book combines themes and ideas I have read in other books in a more direct way. His points are succinct.

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

Again I appreciate his lists of points on the various topics. Direct and to the point I always find the most memorable. He explains what his points mean but there is no fluff in between.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

Nothing, he performed passionately and with confidence.

Do you have any additional comments?

This book is similar to books like, Advanced Selling Strategies by Brian Tracy and The Ultimate Sales Machine (Unabridged) by Chet Holmes
