"That Others May Live" is a mantra that defines the fearless men of Alaska's 212th Pararescue Unit, the PJs, one of the most elite military forces on the planet. Whether they are rescuing citizens injured and freezing in the Alaskan wilderness or saving wounded Rangers and SEALs in blazing firefights at war, the PJs are the least known and most highly trained of America's warriors. Never Quit is the true story of how Jimmy Settle, an Alaskan shoe-store clerk, became a Special Forces Operator and war hero.

Thank you Jimmy. I was a crew member of a Pedro HH43 in Nam, never saw the shit at your level, but what we did is still there 50 yrs later. As an FE/Hoist Operator I flew with some excellent PJ’s. We love you brother, God blessings & Grace for you and all who serve. Your book should be a huge success. Wilber Jeffcoat

In this book, New York Times best-selling author Shauna Niequist invites you to consider the landscape of your own life, and what it might look like to leave behind the pressure to be perfect and begin the life-changing practice of simply being present, in the middle of the mess and the ordinariness of life. In Shauna's warm and vulnerable style, this collection of essays focuses on the most important transformation in her life, and maybe yours, too: leaving behind busyness and frantic living and rediscovering the person you were made to be.

I’m glad I gave this book a chance. Shauna starts out the gate at 800rpm With gusts to over 2000. I found myself nervous & glittery wanting a refund. Then she found her pace and all of God’s wisdom started coming through. She was making sense and I was relating. Thankfully I stayed to the end. I bought the hardback so I can study this volume. It is worth the effort as she gets in the dirt of life with the reader. You will not be sorry for your effort with this book. RevWilber.

They say they are here to warn us and help us not to destroy ourselves. Could they have some other purpose in mind? Why are they really here? The Ufonauts presents overwhelming evidence for the fact that they are studying our life forms and taking specimens of plants and animals. And people.

Interesting story, personality I feel it contains too many non-relevant side tales, making it rambling & hard to follow. As a result it has no real conclusion. There are several snippets that pick the interest, but really end up not relating to the main plot (as per the title).

When a spaceship landed in an open field in the quiet mill town of Sorrow Falls, Massachusetts, everyone realized humankind was not alone in the universe. With that realization everyone freaked out for a little while. Or almost everyone. The residents of Sorrow Falls took the news pretty well. This could have been due to a certain local quality of unflappability, or it could have been that in three years the ship did exactly nothing other than sit quietly in that field, and nobody understood the full extent of this nothing the ship was doing better than the people who lived right next door.
