Meet George and Lou, thugs for hire. The kind of intimidating-yet-friendly guys who will break your thumbs, but be polite about it. Their latest assignment is to drive across Florida to deliver some precious cargo to a crime lord. The cargo: a man in a cage. Though Ivan seems perfectly human, they're warned that he is, in fact, a bloodthirsty werewolf.

Deep in the stacks of Oxford's Bodleian Library, young scholar Diana Bishop unwittingly calls up a bewitched alchemical manuscript in the course of her research. Descended from an old and distinguished line of witches, Diana wants nothing to do with sorcery; so after a furtive glance and a few notes, she banishes the book to the stacks. But her discovery sets a fantastical underworld stirring, and a horde of daemons, witches, and vampires soon descends upon the library.

Xaviera Hollander's life as a call girl and Madam in the US was captured here in her frank 1971 landmark book. Whether this open account is a valid contribution to positive writing about sex at a time when this was a rare phenomena or an unnecessarily racy telling to titillate, it cannot be denied that it makes compulsive listening especially with the author's own voicing.

It is Funny I have read this book when I was studying Dutch literature and my father was hating my book choice and we exchanged some discussions. Now 30 years latter I understand more why, but still the book is a revelation as it was then. I recommend this book to everybody that is slightly rebellious and want to throw out tradition.
This book is an very good written erotic autobiography and is not only recommended for Men but also specially for Women.

Von Däniken claims that an alien race helped to create the pyramids of Egypt, a claim he based upon the ruins themselves.

A Erich von Daniken Book as so many...you have to be really interested in this kind of books, that all comes down to lost civilizations and aliens etc.....
But for one thing Erich von Daniken is right the world has lost a tremendous amount of ancient knowledge and there are too many open questions in our past.
This why and I appreciate a writer as Erich von Daniken that can tell a story without loosing track of reality.(an interesting book but you maybe should read first other Erich von Daniken books before you read this one)

From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Very far fetched conclusions are made in this book what undermine the believe value furthermore the narrator repeats the books conclusion over & over again whats makes it sometimes very boring.

For people that like this subject this book could it be interesting but you have to read this book with a filter and pick what is interesting to you.

Even that I am critical about the book I found it interesting.
