Anna Fox lives alone - a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times...and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble. And its shocking secrets are laid bare.

I don’t usually read many novels in the “witches” category, but this story is so very beautiful and emotional. A must read for people with deep feelings. I cried a few times because of the touching nature of the 3 children who grew up with so much love for each other.

Highly Recommended for adults and young adults also.

I would definitely read (listen) to this wonderful book again. Great author, great narrator!,

If you could sum up The Secrets She Keeps in three words, what would they be?

Very Very Emotional!!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. This book was definitely a page turner. It was hard to make time to stop and take breaks. So many twists and turns. Loved the narrator Lucy Price-Lewis. So talented!

Which scene was your favorite?

I would have to say the final scene, spoken by Agatha. It really made me sad.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. A great story that I won't forget!! This is the first book I've listened to by Michael Robotham. I hope his other books are just as good as this one.

Oh, thank you Stephen King for your words about the author. They really made me decide to listen to The Secrets She Keeps. Highly Recommend!!

Any additional comments?

It's interesting that when you're searching for a really good book to read, one that you've never heard of (such as this one) just pops up out of no where. And you also find writers that you haven't ever read that are terrific. Great!!!

One moment June Nealon was happily looking forward to years full of laughter and adventure with her family, and the next she was staring into a future that was as empty as her heart. Now her life is a waiting game. Waiting for time to heal her wounds, waiting for justice. In short, waiting for a miracle to happen. For Shay Bourne, life holds no more surprises. The world has given him nothing, and he has nothing to offer the world. In a heartbeat, though, something happens that changes everything for him.

What other book might you compare Change of Heart to and why?

Maybe "The Green Mile", but different.

It wasn't a favorite scene, it was all the emotion coming from the excellent narrators. But, of course, the scene when Claire thought her dog had died; BEAUTIFUL!!!

Who was the most memorable character of Change of Heart and why?

Michael, the priest and Maggie, Shay's lawyer. They were very exceptional people.

The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it's kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine's aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born. She never returned, and the Longbows don't talk about her much. The younger ones, who never met her, quietly presume she's dead.

Where does Come Sundown rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 10, maybe even top 5, and I've listened to hundreds of audiobooks so that's saying something.

What did you like best about this story?

EVERYTHING, except 2 characters; Sir and the deputy (can't remember his name).

What does Elisabeth Rodgers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She was a fantastic narrator, except a lot of the male character's voices sounded very similar. Not all, but quite a few. Overall I would definitely listen to other audiobooks by her. 5+

If you could take any character from Come Sundown out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Jessica, because I'd would like to know more about her life.

Any additional comments?

Loved this book. I really never could get into books by Nora Roberts before, but this one was excellent and I'll definitely read more.
