A successful LA artist, Roman Velasco appears to have everything he could possibly want - money, women, fame. Only Grace Moore, his reluctant, newly hired personal assistant, knows how little he truly has. The demons of Roman's past seem to echo through the halls of his empty mansion and out across his breathtaking Topanga Canyon view. But Grace doesn't know how her boss secretly wrestles with those demons: by tagging buildings as the Bird, a notorious but unidentified graffiti artist - an alter ego that could destroy his career and land him in prison.

This was the BEST story I’ve heard in a long, long time!!! I wasn’t expecting the parallel to scripture when I bought it. Was really just hoping for a good read to listen to over Christmas break. But man, when I realized what direction it was taking, I was all ears! I am now a big fan of this author. Looking forward to more of his work!

The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it's kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine's aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born. She never returned, and the Longbows don't talk about her much. The younger ones, who never met her, quietly presume she's dead.

This was an overall great read and performance. Drew me in the moment I started listening to it. I'd strongly caution readers who don't find sexually explicit stories to their liking though. That was my only drawback. It wasn't all through the story but there were some pretty heavy moments.

This story will open your eyes to the world around around you. Racism is and always has been such a prevalent issue in society. Jodi Picoult has beautifully crafted this story to reveal unspoken truths that have haunted the human race since the beginning of time. This is the first book I've listened to by Jodi. She is a VERY talented writer and I can't wait to listen to another. The performance and narrating were also terrific!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Katie Ganshert has done an amazing job with this series. It truly captures your heart and keeps you coming back for more. It's so refreshing to have clean fiction to read that embraces the beauty of a love story, while keeping the suspense and mystery at an all time high. I love that she approaches this with a dystopian tone that mirrors biblical truths throughout. The creativity behind it is astounding and I highly recommend it for your next read!

In a world where nothing supernatural exists, Tess Eckhart is positive she's going crazy. After her complete freak-out at a high school party, her family is too. So much that they pack their bags and move across the country, next to a nationally-renowned facility for the mentally ill. Tess is determined to fit in at her new school, despite the whispers and stares. But when it comes to Luka Williams, a reluctantly popular boy in her class, she's unused to a stare that intense.

I had been praying for God to bring some really great Christian fiction authors my way and let me tell you, He did not disappoint with this one! I would compare it to the Divergent series but so much more interesting. Katie Ganshert did an amazing job with this book. I seriously can't wait to listen to the next two! It's full of suspense and keeps you wanting more the entire time!!! Great job Katie! Looking forward to purchasing more of your books in the future!
PS - Before purchasing this book I read some of the reviews and found that some gave it bad ratings numerous times under the same names. They obviously have an agenda and I would strongly urge you to overlook those. Read/listen to the book and spread the word! Great writers like this need to be celebrated!

History has all but forgotten.... In the spring of 1708, an invading Jacobite fleet of French and Scottish soldiers nearly succeeded in landing the exiled James Stewart in Scotland to reclaim his crown. Now, Carrie McClelland hopes to turn that story into her next best-selling novel. Settling herself in the shadow of Slains Castle, she creates a heroine named for one of her own ancestors and starts to write. But then she discovers her novel is more fact than fiction....
