Love can be strange. Add in the fact that the man you're falling for is your new stepbrother, and you've got one big mess. A girl like Josephine White was never the kind of girl to fall in love with the typical jock, but she finds herself doing just that when her mother brings in yet another man into her life. She discovers that not everyone is what they seem to be when she meets her new stepbrother, Ryan Lowe. Ryan Lowe has tragedy in his past, but a love in his heart for his new sister, and it's anything but brotherly.

What disappointed you about Taken by His Touch?
I couldn't even get through the book and it was under an hour due to the narrator, her voice and tone were not pleasant to listen to and made this story odd.

It was infinitesimally not enjoyable
Would you try another book from C.C. Gibbs and/or Elena Wolfe?
I don't think so because, I really didn't care for the main characters in these three books. I purchased all three at one time because I usually end up buying an entire series and I am struggling getting through book three, but I paid for it so I will. The sex scenes could not even keep me interested. Kate should have been called cat because she was like one in heat, I didn't care for the concept of an MIT graduate acting like a horny teenager that needed orgasms so much that she put up Dominic, who I felt was just a controlling jerk and spoke to her terribly at times. I just couldn't get past them arguing in the middle of sex, drove me crazy and a fight in the middle of sex would kill the mood for most. I didn't connect with the characters at all. I felt like their roles were overdone even for a romance novel.
What could C.C. Gibbs have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Stop using the word "infinitesimal", it was overdone and at times didn't feel appropriate, I literally cringed each time I heard the narrator say it. Make the characters a little more likeable, I have read a lot of romance novels and I understand the tension build up but this was overkill on controlling for Dominic. Kate was portrayed to be the one woman who could stand up to Dominic but was constantly not standing up to him when he spoke to her like dirt.
Would you be willing to try another one of Elena Wolfe’s performances?
I am not sure, her switch to male characters just didn't get me engaged in this performance.
What character would you cut from All He Needs?
Kate and Dominic - start over and make them more likeable.
