I loved this novel, I love the characters, the story line, the neighbor, the kids. I felt invested in outcome and that is key for me to really love a book. But the ending was terrible, non existent actually. It was just done w/no closure, no happy ending, nothing! Instead of leaving this beautiful novel warm and content I just left hollow. Still glad I read it but dang... it could have been a home run with an ending!

Once the quintessential playboy, Bryan claims he's done with wild parties and weekend benders. No more one night stands leading to mornings he can't remember; no more binges and blackouts; no more exploits plastered all over the tabloids and rag sheets. According to Bryan, he's cleaning up his act. The only problem is, no one believes him.

This pair of authors is the reason I signed up for the romance package again. I had exhausted my preference of novels so I shut it down months ago. Then I discovered the Reid/Cosway team and it became worth it once again. Love the way they drag you into the story. I’m a picky reader so I’m overjoyed to find another name to add to my “one click” list.

I had such a glorious build up in my mind, I wanted this story so badly. I guess that shows the talent of the author and the quality of the previous books in this series. It wasn’t lacking, I just had so much expectation that I was sad at times, because I wanted More for Van and Ben. However the last three chapters pulled it off. It gave me what I wanted and made me feel. If this series is new to you, do yourself a favor and start at the beginning.

Jake McKallister might have been a rock star, but he was no ordinary one. Surviving an unspeakable crime as a young teen had shaped him into a guarded workaholic, and he now lived his life trying to forget. If it hadn't been for music and the redemption he found through it, he might not have survived. Career success came easily for him. Personal connections did not.

Books talk about sparks flying. F--k that shit. With her, it was like emergency flares mixed with jet fuel. Or maybe just straight up napalm. Only one problem: She wouldn't tell me her name or her number when she disappeared from the hotel room after the hottest f--king night of my life. Now I've had a taste of unicorn pussy - the sweetest, rarest of all pussy - and I need it again. So what's an asshole to do? I took this problem to the street, a missed connection gone viral. And when I find her? I'm keeping her.

Short but entertaining. This was my second try with this author. I'm realizing she doesn't do complete novels. I'm sure the full book is great but I'm opting out because I don't want to buy three books just to get one story.

This is my second listen and have read originally. It's strangely one of my favorites. I say strangely because I don't identify with Lexi the way I have other K.A characters. I love the twists, turns, heartache and redemption in this novel. It's also quite funny. All the Carnal family is included and that's a happy bonus to a fantastic read.
