Really surprised at the variety of genre in these four titles. One hardly seemed like a Christmas story at all. But they were all well written and entertaining. Great collection of you are looking for something a bit different this holiday season.

In Oceanport, New England's most gossipy small town, people wonder about Griff. Such a cute omega can't possibly be satisfied without a proper mate they say. Yet he'll be 30 soon and as far as they know he's never been with anyone! The truth is that Griff has given up on finding love...that is until his childhood best friend moves back to town and sets his heart on fire. When Dean's firefighter career is sidetracked by a tragic accident, returning to his roots to mend seems like a good move. It gives him a chance to breathe, as well as a chance to reconnect with his oldest friend.

I love this next book in the series. It was great to see Griff get his chance. He was such a support for his brother in the past. We see him figure out the way to overcome his issues is to find the right person to share it with. I also appreciate how Griff can be strong for Dean as well. I love how these guys work through things together and find out the best way to move forward together.

I will be honest I was kind of thrown by the turn this book took. I won't say more because no spoiler. I love the strength of both of these men. This isn't a shifter story where there is one big strong alpha and a little weak omega. Instead you have two beta types who are smart, sexy, strong, and conflicted. They have so much to sort out that doesn't even start on their relationship with each other. I also felt their sort of rush into the whole mating thing without talking first. But well they are guys.

Virgil's first taste of BDSM was disturbingly enticing. Hoping to burn out his interest, he visits an infamous San Francisco club, where he wins himself the prettiest little submissive he's ever seen. He's in a quandary. A man shouldn't render a woman helpless, let alone spank her ass. But the nervous little submissive clearly loves being in his ropes. Her need to be controlled is as powerful as his need to control. So he indulges himself, and her.

I think it was interesting to see someone who isn't even sure about his interest in BDSM have such a natural way with it. Also, to see someone who had some very real fears relax with this unknown Dom. It is reminder that books are fiction and in this fictional world sometimes the chemistry just clicks and two people seem fated for each other. That doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the story. I loved rooting for this couple. I love Summer feisty side and her strength when taking on the good doctor.

Until I pissed Lloyd off, I'd always thought that the Omega Auctions were an urban myth, something that packs used to scare Omegas into obeying. As it turns out, not so much. When Lloyd and Ivan delivered me to the auction house, it was immediately clear that shit had just gotten real. I could only guess at what Lloyd had written on my intake forms, but it was obvious that these people believed I was dangerous.

My biggest complaint to the audio narration was they fact that I had to speed up the reading of the book just a bit. I loved the different unconventional ideas presented in this story. I like how strong Colby is including stand up to those who attack him. I was a bit confused those on the time frame of the captured omega and how long ago he was seen but I am looking forward to see what will happen next

Unable to complete a full shift until he reaches his avian maturity, he still can't be sure of his exact species. But with species comes rank, and rank is everything to the avians. When a partial shift allows the elders to announce that they believe Ori to be a rather ugly little duckling, he drops straight to the bottom rung of their hierarchy.

I found their dynamic interesting from the beginning. The Nest has really treated Ori terribly but it is clear early on that while Raynard is developing a different in charge attitude. It is also clear that while things happened to Ori at the next with Raynard is completely on board with the relationship they are developing. While Raynard irritated me at the big reveal I can almost understand his reaction given his rigid ideals. I like how you get to see Ori's own strength in getting what he wants and needs out of life.
