It was hard to distinguish between the 2 main characters. When the POV switched, in the third book, I kept forgetting who was talking because the was no change.

It was hard to get past Genevieve's voice. The same narrator did the last in the series and her voice for Genivieve was the same as her voice for the 12 year old girl in the last book. It was a pretty obnoxious voice to begin with and the association with the 12 year old character was slightly disturbing.

This course was really designed as a visual course, having only the narration meant missing half of the information. She would offer examples and then point to visual elements of them. It was a bit frustrating to miss out on so much of the useful information.

The narration wasn't terrible, but it wasn't nearly as good as the first book. The female narrator made the male lead sound kinda like a loveable doofus, which really did not fit the character. It was hard to take him seriously.

I usually like when they have male and female narrators, but the male narrator made the female characters sound ditzy and his voice for the female lead was almost the same as the voice he used for a 10 year old girl, which says a lot.
