great story, but I really REALLY can't stand when people silence tt with a 'uh'. like button become buh-in. she was a great narrator, just that mispronunciation of tt words DRIVES ME UP THE WALL.

I liked this book a lot. I related to a lot of the engineering/mechanical humor. I never seen the movie, but I have a feeling this is a blaring case of the book being better than the movie. performance was great, I listened to many audiobooks where the narrator practically ruined the book. the narrator in this story added the right emotions where they needed to be. great job!

it's like Caillou invaded Harry's mind. most of this story is great, hence the 4 stars. but so damn pretentious at times.

The story was okay, not the brilliance of the thrawn trilogy though. why they let Daniel Jose older narrate parts of it got me. I would have done just as good a job narrating (which isn't saying I'd ever think about it). worse part is Marc Thompson narrated bits. Marc perfected the star wars voices over the years (I have A LOT of star wars audio books), made Daniel just sound bad. Daniel didn't even try to voice the characters. he wrote the book, yes, that doesn't mean he could narrate the book.

yeah, human voice and the concept is good, but this was an ad to get an amazon echo for your dog.

id rate it much higher if it wasnt an obvious ad.

this is a biological catastrophe/zombie horror story, not a star wars story. just enough star wars references to call it star wars. kind of morbid to be frank.

if this wasn't star wars, I'd give it a better rating.

the narrator was good though.

the book is quality, occasionally off the wall, goes well with my "f*ck it" life analogy.

The author seems like a modern day Hunter S thompson, which I personally like. I could see this book not going well with baby boomers, and I think the younger millenials will be offended. this book is great for the Gen x crowd, and the 70s-80s kids.

if you get offended by things like drugs, alcohol, and wild behavior, this book isn't for you, on more than one level.

at first I was hesitant to get the book, totally thought it would be like a lifetime movie. I read the reviews, and had a credit to burn so I got it. it turned out to be a great story.
