When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

I love a good autobiography and this one certainly delivered. The level of detail that Audre shared about every aspect of his life is what made this book so good. I didn't want to turn it off. He shares everything from tennis, family, marriage, divorce and more. The writing style I found was really enjoyable to listen to. He was so detailed in describing his feelings that I really did feel like I knew him after listening to this book. My only disappointment is that he did not narrate the audio book himself.

Interesting book about behind the board room doors at Disney. The book is very long and sometimes I had a hard time keeping all of the players straight. I have a long commute, so I definitely got my money's/commute's worth for this book.

As a working mom I had several "ah-ha" moments when listening to this book. Like: "Men are promoted based on potential, but women tend to be promoted based on past performance". The book was easy to listen to, personable, funny, encouraging. I really like it and recommended it to several friends. Towards the end it did get a little monotonous...she seemed to drone the point on about women in the work place, but really offered few solutions besides work places providing a daycare on-sight. Overall a good book.

Fast girls don't mind being the girl everyone is talking about, as long as all eyes are focused their way. They are wanton, daring, shameless, and bold. Fast Girls celebrates the girl with a reputation, the girl who goes all the way, and the girl who doesn't know how to say "no." Featuring writing by Tristan Taormino, Kayla Perrin, Donna George Storey, D. L. King, Kristina Wright, Saskia Walker, Jacqueline Applebee, Tess Danesi, and others, Fast Girls is a racy, provocative collection of erotica by the cream of the crop of female erotica writers.

This book gives you a fascinating insight into Google, which was very thought provocting to anyone that is starting a business. Google's model was to build things to work fast and to be able to multiple on a LARGE scale all while maziming the efficientcy of their workforce by providing such things as free meals, gym memberships etc.

There is just the right about technical discussion without getting too "Geeky" and loosing the listener. The narrator is easy to listen to.

Highly recommend it!

Brooke does a great job of narrating the book and is very open about her struggle with PPD. I have one child and thankfully did not struggle w/PPD. It did give me a new understanding/respect for women that suffer through this.

What left me lacking is how unpersonable or the lack of detail that Brooke had about anything else in her life. This book is ONLY about her PPD. This is not a full tell-all autobiography.

This is the second book I have listened to from the Chinooks series by this author. This is not nearly as good as the first one I listened to (True Love and Other Disaster #4 in the series). The narrator was SO bad it was difficult to listen to. She also mispronounced the name of a character from book #4...no big deal except in the previous book they specifically took the time to explain how to pronounce the name (Savage) correclty. Maybe worth a listen if you catch in on-sale, but don't pay full price.
