Andrew Roberts' Napoleon is the first one-volume biography to take advantage of the recent publication of Napoleon's thirty-three thousand letters, which radically transform our understanding of his character and motivation. At last we see him as he was: protean multitasker, decisive, surprisingly willing to forgive his enemies and his errant wife Josephine.

The author is very good at keeping a breathtaking rhythm throughout the book. Lots of action and surprising turns of events. Jake Mahegan is unstoppable. Only minor disappointment in the story is the connection between the plot and Mahegan’s past. It feels a bit artificial. Now proceeding to book #3

What is "the big lie" of the Democratic Party? That conservatives - and President Donald Trump in particular - are fascists. Nazis, even. In a typical comment, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says the Trump era is reminiscent of "what it was like when Hitler first became chancellor." But in fact, this audacious lie is a complete inversion of the truth. Yes, there is a fascist threat in America - but that threat is from the Left and the Democratic Party.

This book has been eye opening for me. Dinesh D’Souza does a magnificent job explaining how close the Democratic Party is to the Nazis and Fascists of the 1930s, TODAY! A must read for anyone interested in the truth and in understanding the tactics that the leftists are using today. It is time for conservatives to fight back against the true fascism which only comes from the left.

The army does not want you to listen to this book. It does not want to advertise its detention system that coddles enemy fighters while putting American soldiers at risk. It does not want to reveal the new lawyered-up Pentagon war ethic that prosecutes US soldiers and marines while setting free spies who kill Americans. This very system ambushed Captain Roger Hill and his men.

This story is both infuriating and inspiring. Infuriating to see our best military men abandoned by their high command and then prosecuted for fighting a war against pure evil with their hands tied up behind their back. Inspiring to see that in the face of impossible odds Cpt Hill and 1st sergeant Scott chose to put their careers on the line to protect their men. The audio book is well read. Question for the author: After what you've been through, would you still recommend to anyone to go to the USMA at West Point?
