Narrator did a wonderfully convincing job of many different characters and accents —everything from an old lady to a middle aged rural guy to a 10 year old girl. He made the story come alive and kept me interested in what was going to happen next. Because the voices were so real it was like watching a movie since I could imagine the characters in my head. Makes all the difference . Story had some nice messages for all age readers as well.

This book is loaded with tension of cultures, class, politics and father-son relationship. Hard to put down. The narrator makes the characters come alive, all with different dialects and easy to differentiate. Narrator also creates the emotional tone which adds to the compelling nature of the read. Karen

An interesting plot albeit a tad improbable, but the fabulous audible performance enhanced the story greatly. A wonderful listen!

As a psychotherapist, I not only appreciated this book but appreciated demonstrating how a supportive family can make the difference in the recovery of a mentally ill loved one. I felt the performance of the audible made the memoir come alive .....an excellent job!

This book is half science fiction and half mystery. I didn't think I would like it at first but I couldn't put it down -- or stop listening. It became spell-binding, more so because the reader was terrific with inflection and various character accents.

Interesting philosophical lesson interwoven with a compelling story. Narration was superb with changes in intonation for different poems and characters.

As someone who knows little about investing, I found this book an enjoyable way (through story) to learn a great deal about the stock market and how to conserve my money. I also thought the narrator was wonderful because it was easy to keep track of all the characters through the different voices.
