An Irish mobster. A missing friend. Two loyalties, ripping me apart. I had a plan. Get in, get my information, and get out. Easy, right? Turns out, infiltrating the Irish mafia isn't exactly what I thought it would be. I just wanted a soldier. Someone I could flirt with to get me in the door. That's when Lachlan Crow noticed me. Problem was, he wasn't a soldier. No, he was next in line for the throne of the Irish underworld. And he was determined to hate me from the outset.

Crow was a incredible rush to the start of such an amazing series.  It had all of my favorites action, drama, suspense, and some romance mixed with dash of filthy sex.  Loch was ruthlessly hot with his commands to Mack. I loved how much chemistry they had and how they looked out for each other.  The narration was truly incredible switching between the boston and Irish accents.  Overall I couldn't get enough of Loch and Mack and the Irish Syndicate and cannot wait to read the next book in the series!  This is my honest review in exhange for a  free copy of the book.

Adele Blackthorne is a big girl, a curvy chick. She knows it, and she's been picked on all her life because of it. But she's gotten to the stage where she doesn't care. She may be Rubenesque, but she's healthy, too. Much healthier than the mean girls at the leisure center that point and stare and say spiteful things about her. Adele rises above it all, and simply enjoys her secretive glances at the center's hunky lifeguard, Oliver.

Mean Girls was a great short story about how love is love no matter the body image.  I adored the way Oliver found Adele irresistible and made her aware of his attraction. I especially loved how he defended her even when she didn't need him to.  The narration was good.  The only struggle I had with this is  I believe Adele was a middle aged woman but was dealing with catty high school drama.  Overall this was a sweet read with a little spice!  I received this book free in exchange for a honest review.

Her story was like so many other's; a small-town girl buys a bus ticket to the big city to become a famous movie star. Instead of a film producer with a contract and an endless budget, she instead found a shiftless con artist who intended to make her the next big star of low budget, indie horror - and softcore porn. What she woke up to every day was a life of loneliness, alcohol, and drugs.

Interesting story about a young woman who pursues a career as a horror movie actress and screenwriter. I liked the story the characters were genuine even though I grew a bit unfavorable of the heroine as she rose to fame and her attitude changed. This still worked because it made her character human and with flaws. I thoroughly enjoyed the narration it was very well done and made you feel Jan's character personally. The one thing i struggled with in the story was how Jan was so strong one minute and then voiceless in other parts it was bit confusing. Overall it was a unique storyline and I enjoyed listening to this one. This book was reviewed honestly in exchange for a free copy.

Serena and Tristan were excellent characters that kept me invested in their story from beginning to end. I loved Serena's defiance because it wasn't motivated by being careless but rather she just liked to toe the line. Tristan was just amazing but his he shocks me completely at one point in the story. This was my favorite moment in Vernal "I like you Serena, I like you to Tristan I want to keep you, I want to be kept by you." Vernal definitely had some epic moments that left me feeling completely unnerved from how things would turn out. The narration was really great clear and concise. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this story I cannot wait to read the next one to see what happens next.

While I got through the listen okay the story was just not for me. It had potential to be a good short story but with Nikki's revenge plot it seemed a little childish of her and her brother. The voice for Nikki's friend was quite annoying but I think the saving grace was the hot voice used for Nikki's brother and the scene with him. Overall it was a decent listen.
