Layne Davies needed a break - a break from the busybodies in her small town of Keeneston, Kentucky, and a break from dating men who turned into scared little boys upon meeting her father. That's why she was so excited to have been invited to speak at a medical conference in Charleston, South Carolina. Walker Greene can't talk about his job. He can't talk about what happened that one night off the coast of Nigeria when his team was ambushed. I absolutely adore all of Kathleen’s books. I think The Forever Bluegrass series gets funnier with every new book. I have to plan out when I can read her books because I will binge read/listen until the end. Forever Devoted was no exception. Can’t wait for the next book to follow that cliff hanger.

Such a wonderful, slightly romancey, and angst filled book. I loved the real ness to Jon and how the teachers and classmates were not eager to believe he changed any. Some books tend to be set in a different world with perfectly imperfect characters but these were real. I was upset at the mother trying to continue to control and not trust either but as a parent, the fear of loss could have been a driving factor. Either way great book!

When I met Donovan Kincaid, I knew he was rich. I didn't know he was filthy. Truth be told, I was only trying to get his best friend to notice me. I knew poor scholarship girls like me didn't stand a chance against guys like Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, but I was in love with his world, their world, of parties and sex and power. I knew what I wanted - I knew who I wanted - until one night, their world tried to bite me back and Donovan saved me. He saved me, and then Weston finally noticed me, and I finally learned what it was to be in their world.

The heroine is the weakest woman I have ever heard of. Donovan was a dumbass and Sabrina just couldn't stay away. We've all read this in other books but for some reason the delivery here projected utter stupidity. Good kinky sex for the most part but no one believes that every glance from Donovan had her so wet she would be able to fill a pool. I mean good grief lady. I wouldn't waste the credit unless you're really into weak woman or want to be degraded and manipulated without being able to overcome their feelings, to be strong, and to not be overtaken every time he barely touches her or looks at her.

Family. Responsibility. Stability. As the co-CEO of Bayou Enterprises and the eldest of the Boudreaux clan, Beau is the epitome of these. He doesn't have time for anything but the family he adores and the company that drives him. If only the bewitching owner of the herb shop downstairs from Beau's loft weren't so damn tempting.

I met Bianca in an elevator. She was on her way to interview me when we got stuck. The beautiful raven-haired reporter assumed I was a delivery guy because of the way I was dressed. She had no clue I was really Dex Truitt, the wealthy, successful businessman she'd dubbed "Mister Moneybags" - her afternoon appointment. Bianca told me how much she hated Dex's type - snobby, over-educated, silver-spooned men who didn't appreciate the simple things in life.

Kira Dallaire is desperate. Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant 22-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan - possibly her most outrageous idea yet. Grayson Hawthorn is losing hope. Some obstacles in life seem too hard to overcome. Betrayal definitely being one of them.

Such a good book. Part of me wished the heroine was a little stronger and able to stand up for herself more but that's just me relating my own personality into the character. Overall I loved the reality that one night, one mistake, can change everything and the reality of the political games and power hungry idiots. The. Ok had romance, suspense, and everything in between.
