No one knows the secrets he keeps. No one knows of the worlds that exist right alongside ours. Benton is human, but he walks the line between two worlds: the mundane and the supernatural; the commonplace and the extraordinary. As a rare Fire Elemental Warlock, he finds himself in trouble more often than he cares to admit. It doesn't help that his sister is a Faery Queen of the Summer Seelie Court.

I have enjoyed this series more & more as I read/listen. History of Fire offered a nice spin from Benton’s viewpoint, & was never lacking on the thrills of the fae realm. The scene with Oron had me so nervous as I did not see that coming! I’m still unsure how I feel about Seery’s reaction though. Looking forward to book 6!

the audible version of this book was terrific & totally did it justice! I enjoyed the voices as the story played out too.
Julie Cassar never ceases to amaze me, & Stealing Light is definitely on my favorites list! Her style of writing really draws me in. Of course, the characters are equally addicting because of the unique spin she gives them. I am seriously in awe of these characters & worlds she created. She doesn't miss a beat. All bases covered!!
Personally, I read a variety of genres (although my faves tend to be YA paranormal romances. Don't get me wrong, there are many adult books I have enjoyed as well, but it seems the new norm is all about the sex & not much else.) I adore romance, but I also want adventure, action, comedy, etc. And I LOVE thrillers & suspense like no other!
So, I always appreciate romance done tastefully!! A great romance must also have a great story with it, & Cassar never disappoints. I appreciate how she creates those steamy scenes without over sharing. Not to mention all of the other awesomeness she packs in. Her stories always succeed in transporting me to these far away worlds she magically weaves & I can't wait to see what is to come!!
BTW... There are only a few authors that I have found that can truly make me laugh hysterically through the trembles and/or tears. You know, that whole anguished snort cry with fluids flying both directions...yep THAT Happened!

This story is different from anything I've read lately & seriously rocks!!! The perfect balance of suspense, angst, romance (in between saving the world & all), & hotness. Paranormal, thriller, guardian angels, demons, fallen, seers, supernaturals, family, emotions, awesome fight scenes, suspense, & so much more!

This series is one of my all time favorites, & this portion of their tale is my absolute favorite of the series!
Sarah J. Maas has a true talent for causing heart shattering pain right next to bone thrilling adventure & romance that Cupid himself would seek out. This journey has been intoxicatingly emotional filled with more ups & downs than I could have imagined. Every moment had me in awe of its true magnitude as the story revealed its rightful path, & yet I was repeatedly surprised throughout every page. I grew to adore these characters (especially our high lady & her mate) & the world they belong to...and I am sad it has ended for now. I can’t wait to see what more is to come for all mankind & the fae realm. I shall await the next release with great anticipation!

The Chemist is an extreme trip that affects all of the senses! Mystery, angst, drama, anxiety, & so much more literally jump out at you & drag you into the moment. I enjoyed every second of this trip. I was expecting the sort of save the world scene as was thrown in the mix, but never saw the Black Ops/Evil Scientist excitement coming as hard as it did. This was seriously a thrill from so many directions with so many emotions coming out from hiding.
We begin by getting to know a few characters while learning some of their back stories. The real action begins a bit later in the book, & by then I was thoroughly invested already. But...it didn’t just play out before my eyes I was so engaged that I jumped along with them, shrieked, & shed a few tears too.
If you enjoy secretive missions, excitement galore, & emotional roller coasters...READ THIS BOOK!!!! I would so love to follow these characters for more. Hopefully there will be more of them to come!

This is the second series I have begun by Marie Lu. Well, I hope this will become a series, because I’m definitely gonna need more! Lu’s books always entertain me. I am so glad I grabbed this audiobook to listen to at work!! I would have finished much quicker if I hadn’t had to pause so often for incoming calls & such. I️ found myself grabbing my headphones to listen even while cooking dinner which is a rare treat with kiddos running around the house.
We are thrown into this amazing virtual reality filled world where people are intense about their gaming & almost pausing life for the upcoming Warcross tournaments. The characters are diverse, interesting, & witty. The action & emotion flowed well, but toward the end really picked up its pace. I can’t wait to read more!

I highly recommend this series by Ann Gimpel!!
I have just recently found her audiobooks & I quickly became addicted to the tales she weaves. Her worlds are full of action, drama, magic. *Her books are not for the younger crowd as all of them I have bought so far contain many sex scenes.

This series is of destiny, war, dragons, mages, witchcraft, & steaminess all in one. So much to tell & yet I don’t want to ruin it for you. This journey takes us along the travels & battles of many magical beings & their mates across many worlds & dimensions. This was really exciting as the battles became more intense. Loved every bit of it!

How to Hang a Witch was an interesting, exciting, scary read that obviously had a lot of research beforehand. I particularly enjoyed having the author as the narrator as I feel she could best represent the character's attitudes & emotions. I can't wait for more!!
There's a ton going on in this book to keep you entertained. We start out visiting some old Salem tales while getting to know these people & their pasts. We quickly move onto some skeptical & superstitious "threats" as well as some memorable moments. Then all hell breaks loose when even what I thought I knew had me questioning everything twice over. What a ride!!!!
Even if you've never read anything bout the Salem Witch Trials you are sure to enjoy this book.
