They are coming. The countdown has begun. First visible only as blips on a telescope image, the discovery of objects approaching from Jupiter's orbit immediately sets humanity on edge. NASA doesn't even bother to deny the alien ships' existence. The popular Astral space app (broadcasting from the far side of the moon and accessible by anyone with Internet) has already shown the populace what is coming.

I almost stopped listening to this book half way through because all of the suspence and the feeling of bad things that were going to happen. didnt make me feel great while listening. im glad i decided to finish though. It turned out to be pretty decent. I was supprised to see it was an actual series when i finished book 1. I dont think i will continue the series.Book 1 was enough for me.

I stopped listening to this book 5 times before i finally gave up. I loved every Joe ledger book, so i started listening to more maberry. The last book of his i listend to, a character "cursed her whiteness." Ok no big deal a little weird though. Then came this book and it was just too much. Let me sum it up. Illegal immigrants = poor helpless saints. Illegal Immgration control officers = nazis. "Concentration camp like prisons" aka immigration control centers. The military and what was left of immigration officers even refure to the illegal immigrants who used to be detained as "rats". Come on man. Main character is a bisexual teenager figuring out her sexuality living in a old immigration camp that her illegal immigrant mother was prisoned in. Just too much. Maberry if you read this please stop jamming this down my throat.

I played all those cool video games. I watched all those movies. I even read the books. In most of 'em, the hero shoots the bad guys, drives a sweet car, never gets hungry, and always seems to get laid by the end. Yeah. Whatever. I gotta be straight with you about why I wrote this journal, and it comes down to one thing, the apocalypse kinda sucks. It doesn’t meet my expectations at all.

heres the deal, i dont write many reviews. Bbut this was such a good listen that it inspired me to do this 3 minutes of work. I love apocalypse style books. Zombies or no Zombies it doesnt matter i just love the apocalypse theme. After listening to so many shoot em ups, or good group vs bad group books, i needed to cleanse my pallet while still enjoying the book. Found this gem by my favorite Narrator Ray Porter and the rest is history. i couldn't put it down and it was a very fun listen. Love the book and LOVE Ray.

Terrorists-for-hire have created a weapon that can induce earthquakes and cause dormant volcanoes to erupt. One terrifying side effect of the weapon is that prior to the devastation, the vibrations drive ordinary people to suicide and violence. A wave of madness begins sweeping the country beginning with a mass shooting in Congress. Joe Ledger and his team go on a wild hunt to stop the terrorists and uncover the global superpower secretly funding them. At every step the stakes increase as it becomes clear that the endgame of this campaign of terror is igniting the Yellowstone caldera.

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.
