Is it even possible for Mark Tufo to write a story that doesn’t immediately draw you in, with characters you care about as soon as you “meet” them?!? This is yet another amazing new layer of the multiverse that Mike Talbot finds himself in. Even wandering the levels of Hell itself, Mike manages to find allies, and as always, plenty of enemies. The only thing disappointing about this story is that it ends.. lol! Absolutely CAN NOT wait for number two!! Oh, and of course, as always, Mr Runnette’s narration brings the story to life as only the very best narrators can!

Deadly outbreaks of diseases make headlines, but not at the start. Every pandemic begins small, subtle, and in faraway places. When it arrives, it spreads across oceans and continents, like the sweep of nightfall, killing millions, or even billions. Be prepared to get very, very paranoid. A new post-apocalyptic medical thriller fiction series from author Bobby Akart.

And so it begins, the virus enters on the quiet feet of The Innocents. It invades each and every one of us. But, they say, plagues are like fires. At some point, they burn themselves out. Or not. Fear and rumor can be far more dangerous than the virus itself.

After decades of planning, the contagion was unleashed, and overnight hundreds of millions died and came back as rampaging, undead monsters. The living that had been lucky enough to survive the first day of carnage, lucky enough to be in the right place, and lucky enough that some of them had the skills to survive soon found out there was much more to worry about than just zombies.

I'm a trucker so I really enjoyed this story from some trucker's perspectives. Plenty of good characters, fast, vicious zombies (my favorite) plus a really good storyline! Follow this group of all different kinds of folks brought together by chance, all because they were at the same truck stop when the zombies swarmed! A little dark humor, but definitely a scary zombie story! There's a lot of pretty bad ones out now, this is a helluva good story to start a series, not to mention this author's first book! I'll bet he only gets better!

Smart, hilarious, and incisive, the Liberal Rednecks confront outdated traditions and intolerant attitudes, tackling everything people think they know about the South - the good, the bad, the glorious, and the shameful - in a laugh-out-loud funny and lively manifesto for the rise of a New South. Home to some of the best music, athletes, soldiers, whiskey, waffles, and weather the country has to offer, the South has also been bathing in backward bathroom bills and other bigoted legislation.

If you're from the south, you'll find yourself laughing and nodding, totally relating to so much of what's here. If you're not from "these parts" you'll get a pretty damn realistic glimpse, for better and for worse, of southern life. Laugh, cry, get angry at the injustice of it all sometimes. Just simply an excellent book!

In The Apocalypse, the great majority of the men and women who fought with honor - with a sense of duty and loyalty - gave their lives for others, leaving those without honor to flourish and rule. Their rule is not marked by decency or civility, but by wicked brutality. Yet, in some very rare cases, the kind and the noble survived. These hardened survivors learned to live among the undead, but now they must learn how to stay alive among creatures that are far more monstrous: their fellow man.

There are a LOT of subpar zombie stories out there now, but this series is the gold standard. Non stop action combined with great storytelling and excellent character development. The narration is also spot on. If you've been following the series you already know, if not, start with book one immediately, you won't be sorry, and you won't be able to stop!
