A world away, the children of fire and flame may be the only hope for the realm. But the dragons have been defeated before, and Verda’s future now hangs in the balance. Yet another amazing book in this series! Unfortunately, the wait for the next book is likely to draaaag by. This is a book that would make a fantastic tv series as long as they can keep with the original storyline like GOT. You will not be disappointed with this book!

This book fell flat on its face compared to the previous 4. It had far too much useless detail about how the main character decides to staff his new lands. There were maybe 3 or 4 exciting parts to the book, while the rest of it was useless. I was expecting more from this but now I find myself wondering if I should even purchase the next book in the series.

The story may have been a good one but I'm not sure. I struggled through the first book only because I wanted to see if it got any better, boy was I wrong. The narration was awful. The long needless pauses and strange music make this audio book remind me of some low low budget sitcom. Give it a shot if you are really bored but this book is a snooze fest.
