What a wonderful end to this series! (even though I didn't want it to end!) everything fit together nicely and Cody is the best narrator! It made me want to go back and re listen to the whole series again just to refresh my memory on some of the tie ins and for a different perspective on the whole series since originally I was reading/listening to them as they came out. I am so hoping that maybe Peggy will choose to pick up this series again sometime in the future and add more adventures!

Another good book (novella) by Peggy L Henderson which fills in the blanks from previous books of the character Chase Russell's adventures. The narration was great an easy to listen to!

While I normally don't care for novellas (because I love good long books that really get in depth with the characters) this was an exception since it was a character that I already knew and loved from previous books in the series.

I loved this book. the story was great and was well written. The narration was wonderful and the narrator took on the different voices without being fake or cringe worthy. there were enough twists and turns to keep it interesting and flipping back and forth between time periods was done seamlessly. I am looking forward to listening to more books in this series when they become available. Irina Shapiro is definitely one of my favorite authors and I have loved everything she has written.

I'm not sure if I'm going to read the rest in the series buy the other authors but these 2 books stand alone and I highly recommend them. as for the narrator, Cody Roberts is the best and just seems to get better and better. I've listened to other books narrated by him and he always makes listening a pleasure and the book come alive.

I loved this story! I am a fan of the author's other books which are time travel and/or set in the past and I usually don't read or like contemporary romances so I wasn't too sure if I would like it but this book made me change my mind about contemporary romances (at least by this author). I loved it which just proves that good writing and good storytelling is good writing and good storytelling no matter what time period it is set in. I love the fact that the Taggart name is familiar (Shane's ancestors are in some of Peggy other books but you don't need to have read them to understand this book....it stands alone.) Cody Roberts as the narrator is excellent! his voice is wonderful to listen to and he puts just the right drama and emotion in narrating the story without being overly dramatic or cheesy. I highly recommend this audible book. it is a great listen!
