It began on New Year's Eve. The sickness came on suddenly, and spread quickly. The fear spread even faster. Within weeks, everything people counted on began to fail them. The electrical grid sputtered; law and government collapsed - and more than half of the world's population was decimated. Where there had been order, there was now chaos. And as the power of science and technology receded, magic rose up in its place. Some of it is good, like the witchcraft worked by Lana Bingham, practicing in the loft apartment she shares with her lover, Max.

Loved everything about this book. Full of twists and it was hard to predict what would happen next. Both narrators were great at portraying the characters.

I got this book because it was an audible special. I am completely surprised by how great the story and narration were. Loved every second of it. This one is definitely a book I would recommend. I'll be searching for more by this author and also this narrator.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bare Bones to be better than the print version?

Yes, I love the audio book because Bobby reads it himself and you get his personality along with his story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bare Bones?

Bobby's Mom and Bobby's understanding of addiction based on his life experiences

Which scene was your favorite?

Lunchbox and the panty hose from their Austin days

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laugh, Cry, Smile

Any additional comments?

I feel like he should write Volume 2! I think there are still so many things listeners would love to know about Bobby outside the radio.
