In keeping with his trademark style, Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code and Inferno, interweaves codes, science, religion, history, art, and architecture in this new novel. Origin thrusts Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon into the dangerous intersection of humankind's two most enduring questions - and the earthshaking discovery that will answer them.

Not my favorite of his books by far, easily could figure out the plot and antagonist by a quarter into the book which is not up to how usual stuff. Plot theme also seemed to be borrowed from other very notable sci-fi and even fantasy plots which I won’t reveal so as not to spoil the ending for someone who might actually not be able to figure out what is going on (which I suspect will be very few)

When it comes to health, there is one criminally overlooked element: sleep. Good sleep helps you shed fat for good, stave off disease, stay productive, and improve virtually every function of your mind and body. That's what Shawn Stevenson learned when a degenerative bone disease crushed his dream of becoming a professional athlete. Like many of us, he gave up on his health and his body...until he decided there must be a better way.

Some great ideas mixed with pseudoscience. I worry how confusing this will be with many consumers as the author states a lot of very shaky ideas as matter of fact. Wish he had stuck with the excellent ideas that are more time tested
