On the day she was abducted, Annie O’Sullivan, a 32-year-old Realtor, had three goals: sell a house, forget about a recent argument with her mother, and be on time for dinner with her ever-patient boyfriend. The open house is slow, but when her last visitor pulls up in a van as she’s about to leave, Annie thinks it just might be her lucky day after all.

I AM a Realtor so I was looking forward to some juicy content within our industry because there's plenty! Nothing burger here in this book.
Some good parts to it, not an amazing book in the slightest. Kept me guessing a little bit, the twist was kind of a buzz kill. Don't want to give up too much. Kept wanting more here, less there. If you read it, good for you. If you miss this one, no biggie.

This unique and fundamentally liberating book shows us that examining our attitudes toward money - earning it, spending it, and giving it away - can offer surprising insight into our lives, our values, and the essence of prosperity. Lynne Twist, a global activist and fundraiser, has raised more than $150 million for charitable causes. Through personal stories and practical advice, she demonstrates how we can replace feelings of scarcity, guilt, and burden with experiences of sufficiency, freedom, and purpose. In this Nautilus Award-winning book, Twist shares from her own life, a journey illuminated by remarkable encounters with the richest and poorest.

Written by an out of touch socialite type, her opinions are appalling and relayed in an annoying, condescending context. It is her and her type that host charity balls and fundraisers that NEVER cure cancer or any other disease, or heal a people even if seemingly so. They have fancy parties, write it all off on their taxes, donate a measly 15% to the actual cause and get to pat themselves on the back whilst feeling like they've accomplished something. As in the title for this review, Your Money or Your Life got to the bones of the issue of getting out of debt and more importantly the school of thought that got you there. The Soul of Money is a self congratulating, self aggrandizing memoir that will most likely depress you more than help you. Ugh *w/eye roll.

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

My favorite cast for narrating Baldacci! I love Ron and Orlagh.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Forgotten?

I LOVE that Puller finally got some girlfriend time! He's such a hottie!

Have you listened to any of Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

They both are my favorite, together they're GOLD!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Eh. I did finish quick tho.

Any additional comments?

Again, either you love Baldacci or not. All his books are good, clean, fun. I'm a wimp in real life so hearing about a global spy hottie in all the Baldacci books is a great ride! I cannot believe ppl actually complain about the sound effects and music. IT'S MY FAVORITE PARTS!!! IT'S SOOO GOOD! It gets your blood moving when the suspenseful music starts.
I'm not able to review the Will Robie series here as I read them elsewhere. I need to add that those are THE BEST BOOKS in a series I've read in a while. Its light and fluffy spy lit, but I have to admit, I balled like a baby at the very end of The Guilty! Like, ugly cried! READ THE WILL ROBIE BOOKS! SOOO GOOD! I Love you Baldacci!!

Ben Horowitz offers essential advice on building and running a startup - practical wisdom for managing the toughest problems business school doesn’t cover, based on his popular ben’s blog. While many people talk about how great it is to start a business, very few are honest about how difficult it is to run one. The Hard Thing About Hard Things is invaluable for veteran entrepreneurs as well as those aspiring to their own new ventures, drawing from Horowitz’s personal and often humbling experiences.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Hard Thing About Hard Things?

I LOVE his use of rap music and how it parallels. If you don't get that, you will not last in this world. Strange but mostly true.

Which character – as performed by Kevin Kenerly – was your favorite?

N/A but I do love hearing about Hororwitz's wife. Who could handle a husband like Ben?

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Any additional comments?

Ben Horowitz seems like he didn't want to just write yet another book about getting there. This book is about BEING there. In the shit, in the trenches, shit hitting fans, ppl's egos, attitudes, misgivings, their lacking and full on idiosyncratic disfunction and having to depend on and work with those said ppl. Ben has balls, is not a blame game playing pussy, and is brilliant in both academia and street credibility. He's hottt! GET THIS BOOK! It's a guide; how to be a bad ass while @ the top.

On May 1, 1915, a luxury ocean liner as richly appointed as an English country house sailed out of New York, bound for Liverpool, carrying a record number of children and infants.
