What did you like best about Veronica Mars: Mr. Kiss and Tell? What did you like least?

This is a five-star book with a zero-star performance. All the reviewers who complained about the monotonous voice of the narrator were NOT exaggerating. It's horrible. It's like she's been given a sedative and then asked to read. It is so disappointing because this audiobook could be amazing with Kristen Bell and at least tolerable with someone other than the narrator who was used. It's really bad. Sad and bad. I think this book should be re-recorded with Kristen Bell and everyone who had the misfortune of buying this version should get automatically get a copy. PLEASE.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot is good but the narrator sounds so bored (and/or medicated) that it's hard to listen to for extended periods of time.

What didn’t you like about Rebecca Lowman’s performance?

Everything. Monotonous. Deadened. Sounded like reading it was the worst chore imaginable for her. Ruined the whole experience.

Do you think Veronica Mars: Mr. Kiss and Tell needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

YES! With Kristen Bell narrating. And please re-record this book with Kristen Bell.

Any additional comments?

I always believe a narrator can make or break an audiobook experience. In this case, she definitely broke it.
