This was my first story in any of the Montgomery series, and what a charm it was to read.

Mace and Adrienne have known each other for quite some time, but they’ve come to a point now in their lives where they give in to what has been simmering between them. Loved their chemistry, how awesome would it be to fall in love with your best friend, someone you could joke with, someone that will have your back. This couple gave me all the feels!

Of course, the added suspense to their storyline just made it so much better, who is trying to stop the tattoo parlor from flourishing?

Such amazing characters that Ms. Ryan has created, I love that our heroine is a very strong character, she doesn’t take BS from anyone. And our hero, what can I say about a single dad, he loves his daughter, I’m a sucker for any little girl that can have her daddy wrapped around her little finger.

I read this book by listening to the audiobook, great narrator.

This is my first Eve Langlais story and it won’t be my last. This book was so entertaining, had so many LOL moments, totally enjoyed it. Penny believes she’s been abducted but in reality was being saved by Alien Reg, a very hunky alien at that.

Not many books out there where the heroine is asking to be ‘probed’, loved the humor. Loved how they fell for each other, after overcoming some miscommunication.

I ‘read’ the book via audiobook.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Enjoyable sexy story!

This is my first story from the author and what a great way to start!

Violet was not given much of a chance as Stuart makes his desires known to her. He wants her to be his submissive, but she has major hang-ups about her age, mainly what will people say about her since she will be the older woman in this relationship. She agrees with some reservation but figures they can continue if they keep it only to themselves and not let the outside world in on their little secret.

I really loved the story, I felt I could sympathize with the heroine, as she is a bit older and just the fact that I could date a younger man, makes me extremely nervous. I loved the way they spend their time getting to know each other, loved how he introduces her to the D/s lifestyle, loved how he took care of her, loved how we saw her emotions toward Stuart change and she comes to believe that maybe they could be a couple, but something always gets in the way…you’ll have to read the story to find what happens, will they or won’t they fight for each other?

Listening to this audio version of the story really brings out the characters, even though there are several of them, the narrator is able to portray each one as separate individuals. Awesome narrator, can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Where does Exquisite Trouble rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would rank this among the top audio books I've listened to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Smoke is such a great character, he knows what he wants and goes after it.

What about Andy E. Ross and Stephanie Wyles ’s performance did you like?

These narrators do a great a job at portraying the characters of Smoke and Swan.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I thoroughly enjoyed the emotions that both characters portrayed through their narration.

Any additional comments?

Ann Mayburn writes some great stories and this is one of my current favorites. The relationship between the characters grows steadly and we are there during every step. I can't wait to listen to the next book where their story will continue.
