I’m thinking he has started to license his characters and story. The book was a disappointment. Julia was written as a weak character. The action was not written in the Correia style and the lack of proper terminology and technique was sad. i.e. “jerked the trigger” Another grip was the changing out of the Narrator to Bailey Carr. Her only saving grace was her Mr Trashbags. Her pronunciation and accents of characters was terrible. I’m pretty sure the Portuguese ASS commander was named Lopez, not Lopis. I could be wrong tho l, since I only listened to it and not actually read it. But that was annoying.

I’m pretty sure I was not the only one who has been waiting for the 7th book in this series and what we got was a let down to us the fans. In fairness this book was not bad. If this was another universe or written in the same universe but not using major characters like those Ringo collibrluations it would not have been bad. But it is not the style of writing we expect from a Larry Correia novel. I have not listened to the last two novels written by Larry Correia and John Ringo, and if this story is any indication. I’ll pass on those. Larry come back to us. When it comes to MHI, we are a fan of you, not these other story writers.

Pretty good listen. Ray Porter is great as the narrator. ( had to get use to the thought that he wasn't Joe Ledger)

Solid Zombie book. The narrator was a little off on the Army Whoo-uh and the marine whoo-ahhh but other then that a great read and listen. They need to get the other books on the series "left with the dead (a novella) and Rise of the Horde vol 1-2
