I would just like to say that I enjoyed this installment very much, finding the overall plot engaging. The several twists and turns might feel a little forced at times, but nonetheless drew me into the story further. I couldnt ask for more in a series featuring dragons.

A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation! The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy - a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice. Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

I've been wondering what all the hub bub was about around this series, and I'm fairly surprised to see youthful bantering coupled with violent but captivating war themes featuring dragons. I look forward to listening more of the series. The voice reading was done remarkably well and it kind of feels like bed time stories I wasn't all too often given growing.

Suffice to say, if you like dragons (and dark humor). This is a series that has that. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
