I almost didn't make it past chap 3 but ploughed on hoping it would improve. The main character started as unlikable but became more sympathetic as the book progressed. Very little of Molly Harper's humor. Pretty disappointing altho Amanda Ronconi was her usual outstanding self.

Cliff hanger ending for all the story lines. Story dragged a bit. Would have benefited from tighter editing.

Another great installment in the Great Library series but very disappointing it wasn't the last. The book ended like a cliff hanger, and if I remember correctly, it was advertised as a trilogy. But still a great tale.

The book starts slowly. After the first 11 chapters I was on the verge of giving up when the story and action really took off. This is not really a stand-alone book; we have to wait till 2017 for the next installment. 😧 The characters were interesting, 3 stories going simultaneously, great world building. I just wish the narrator had made some effort to give each main character a different voice. I will definitely be in the crowd eagerly waiting to tap click to buy when the second book comes out. A worthwhile read for anyone who loves dragons.
