This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

The story was great but the constant she was beautiful and dragging on about Deanna was hard to take I almost quit the book three quarters the way through. We get it.. she is the love interest let's cut the poetry down of how her eyes glimmer in his heart etc..

The dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around - and Lazlo Strange, war orphan and junior librarian, has always feared that his dream chose poorly. Since he was five years old, he's been obsessed with the mythic lost city of Weep, but it would take someone bolder than he to cross half the world in search of it. Then a stunning opportunity presents itself in the person of a hero called the Godslayer and a band of legendary warriors, and he has to seize his chance or lose his dream forever.

The lead up had some promise but it was drowned in chapters of lovers sentiment. The climax was predictable and the end lacking. I won't be reading the second but thanks for the bright world.

he uses a lot of references and terms that exist in the book universe and not known by the read, which can be confusing at the beginning. lacks a lot of explanation of meta things, but I feel like he did that on purpose so by then end, when you find it all out , it is more satisfying.

the is story just a little lackluster. Specifically the end. other than the time and place, there isn't anything really related to Rouge One( I haven't read the novel though).

College. A time of transition from youth to young adulthood. New lessons, new responsibilities, new distractions. A period of life treasured by most. Unless you happen to attend an institute of higher learning where the bullies are werewolves, the teachers are sadists, and the pretty girls are all deadly. A school like that demands a special kind of student, someone with the skills and power to survive. Someone like Declan O'Carroll.
