Heidi and I have been trading hungry looks all year, and everything she does makes me smile. But I don't do girlfriends, and I certainly can't get involved with the league commissioner's daughter. I need shots on goal, not a hookup and a widely misunderstood paparazzi photo. Can I resist her, though? The way she teases me should be a game penalty for interference with my libido.

Love Jason and Heidi’s love story and how unapologetic Heidi is about getting what she wants. Jason is a loveable cynic who is afraid to love again and she broke down all the walls. You get to meet the rest of the gang and get more time with the Bruisers.
Jason Clarke is phenomenally well cast for this role and I love every minute of it and Savannah really brings out the feisty and go getter side of Heidi! Love !!

You know how people say you can never believe what you read on the interwebs? That a hot guy online is probably a creeper with a beer gut and a shoe fetish, not the sexy beast he pretends to be? So I had no clue that the anonymous blogger who contacted my law firm about his naughty website would be droolworthy in real life. Not that I'm interested in him in that way. Attorneys can't go around sleeping with their clients. Not even if he is the most beautiful man I've ever met and so ridiculously smart he makes my nerdy-girl heart sigh.

I love the premise of the story but it was so much more .Evie has body issue and abandonment issue while Josh came from a prestigious family and can’t always be himself. Love the awkwardness that Ava brought to Evie and how she blossoms and gained more confidence through the story. Stephen makes Josh extremely likable even when things got dicey and almost torpedo their relationship.

Definitely going on my re listen list for sure!

Lauren Blakely really made a wonderful story more ear-gasmic by having a full cast of narrators in this book. Just hearing the different voices brought to life made all the components of the story more vivid to the listener. Lulu is a fun loving girl who is finally making her dream come true. I love how stoic Leo is and how much he wants to love Lulu but felt guilty because of his best friend. The secondary characters are a hoot especially Ginny and Noah. Joe Arden sounded like a young earnest energizer bunny! :)

They really Tessa’s words justice especially the emotions depth that Addison felt for Elijah. I cried and laughed so hard and never wanted it to end.

They say your first kiss should be earned. Mine was stolen by a devil in a masquerade mask under the black Chicago sky. They say the vows you take on your wedding day are sacred. Mine were broken before we left church. They say your heart only beats for one man. Mine split and bled for two rivals who fought for it until the bitter end. I was promised to Angelo Bandini, the heir to one of the most powerful families in the Chicago Outfit. Then taken by Senator Wolfe Keaton, who held my father’s sins over his head to force me into marriage.

LJ is a one clicked author for me because she writes such assholes that redeemed themselves so gloriously at the end. I went into the story blind which is the best way to do it because the twists comes at you suddenly. Savannah does such a great job emoting the innocence and conflict Francesca has for Wolfe. Stephen’s Wolfe is really so hate-able and multifaceted. This is the best kind of enemies to lovers book.

I hired her to be my girlfriend. To fix my reputation. To save my career. It's not that I don't want a girlfriend. I do. I want it all. Wife, kids, side-by-side burial plots. The problem is - I can't have any of it. So I've made myself untouchable. The quintessential bachelor of baseball. Because it's not worth the risk. Not even for someone I love. Especially not for someone I love. We made the arrangements. We agreed to a contract. It's iron clad. No sex. No love. No future.

I'm leaving you this note because I know you're very busy, and I don't want to waste the town sheriff's time. Lord knows I've already wasted enough of it. Thank you for taking me home last night and...everything else. I made you a basket of wild blueberry muffins for your trouble. That seemed like the appropriate baked good for getting naked in your living room. I wasn't myself last night. I didn't mean to kiss you or fondle your backside or ask all those intimate questions. Thank you for pretending to enjoy it.

Also love how she did the hilarious text stream between Brook and Annette. Such a joy to listen to another story set in Talbot Cove. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves a deliciously written book narrated.

The bride is a doll. The groom is the perfect gentleman. But the rest of the wedding party? They're the stuff of nightmares. Rich? Check. Vapid? Double check. Entitled? Not enough checks in the world. And the best man? More like the worst man. But maid of honor Franchesca takes her duties seriously. Kidnapped groom? She's got this. Rude attendees? You just watch her handle them. So a best man with a big attitude and an even bigger...checkbook? Yeah, there's no way she's going to let that pretentious, judgmental jackhole ruin her best friend's wedding. No matter how sexy he is.

Lucy Score’s books never disappoint. Love the characters she creates and how strong and independent her heroine is. Frankie is a take no nonsense girl from Brooklyn. Aiden is a guarded billionaire who fell hard for her during a destination wedding. Their chemistry is off the chart and the secondary characters are a hoot especially the Baranski. There are so many scenes that will make you laugh so hard your middle hurt. It’s rom com at its best.
