I really enjoyed this book. Lots of twists and turns in the story. Of course, book 1 was read and performed by Stevie Zimmerman (who is my absolute favorite) was more enjoyable to listen to, but the core story remains excellent! Looking for book 3!

An attempted assault leaves Miss Elizabeth Bennet seeking tender comfort from the man she had, at one time, abhorred. Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy's gentle compassion fosters a budding affection as the couple grows to acknowledge each other's weaknesses and failings while recognizing their own. What disappointed you about How the Duke Was Won?

I wanted more romance and less sexual. It was too graphic. I look for the subtleties.

What could Lenora Bell have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Remember that her audience are women, not men.

How could the performance have been better?

The performance was fine.

Any additional comments?

I returned the book before I finished because of the overt sexuality.
