Rosemary Harper doesn't expect much when she joins the crew of the aging Wayfarer. While the patched-up ship has seen better days, it offers her a bed, a chance to explore the far-off corners of the galaxy, and, most importantly, some distance from her past. An introspective young woman, she's never met anyone remotely like the ship's diverse crew, including Sissix, the exotic reptilian pilot; chatty engineers Kizzy and Jenks, who keep the ship running; and Ashby, their noble captain.

One of the comedy world's fastest-rising stars tells his wild coming of age story during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. Noah provides something deeper than traditional memoirists: powerfully funny observations about how farcical political and social systems play out in our lives.

An amazing, unbelievable life. I loved his comedy before I heard this book and thought Jon Stewart made an excellent choice in choosing Trevor to replace him, now...I’m just blown away by Trevor and by his story. I truly cannot express what I’m thinking and feeling right now and how awed I am at his journey.

This was the stupidest storyline I've ever heard/read. No one is so sheltered that they won't give their own first name to someone to protect themselves. It was so irritating I couldn't even get to the end. The "heroine" was so immature and irritating I just wanted to slap her. Her friend has to explain reality to her throughout the whole freaking book. Give me a break! Ugh!!

Very enthralling storyline. A whole universe to explore. Well developed characters, political intrigue, with only a touch of romance. It wouldn't be for the hardcore romance type as it took three books before they get together, but if you want a good story this is for you.
