Tessa Graham has loved Malus for years. They were once a wildly popular band, topping the charts and leaving broken hearts in their wake. But for the past five years, they've been playing the same old hits, incapable of creating anything new. As an assistant working for the band's record label, Tessa is given the opportunity of a lifetime. Her boss informs her that she must help the band write and record a new album - and she only has seven months to do it. If she succeeds, she's in line for a huge promotion. If she fails, she's fired. And so is the band.

This book is steamy hot. And although the narrator was good I do wish there was a female to speak her parts but I still very much enjoyed it.

But after an unexpected attack on the Kings sends his brothers on a path of vengeance, Chase will have no choice but to take on the burden of being the man in charge. Reporter Sasha Sheridan has steered clear of bikers wearing the bearded skull for the last 10 years. Investigating a story, she suddenly finds herself back in the crosshairs of the Savage Kings.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I loved this audiobook! I don’t usually listen to MC but needed something different and Jeffery Kafers narration was to good to pass up. He has me hooked and now I was to see if he has done any others in the series! I hope so! It kept me cleaning my house all day w/o getting bored.
I LOVED Jefferey Kafers narration. He is actually perfect for this type of role or he just acted it perfectly. He has a nice deep growly voice too which I really liked!
The female narrator was nice.
This story is exciting and suspenseful. I can’t wait for the next book. Not sure which characters it will follow but I hope to see what the prospects and Abe are up too and if Chase’s brother is OK.

When a letter from his supposedly deceased mother finds its way into his hands, life changes in an instant for international pop star Bodhi Beckett. Reeling from the deception of those closest to him, Bodhi spirals out of control and is sent to a secluded mansion in the coastal mountains of Southern California for some rest and relaxation. But the retreat proves to be anything but relaxing when a raging wildfire sets the landscape around him ablaze. While escaping the flames, Bodhi rescues Breeze, a quirky, pet-loving woman, and together the two fight their way to safety.

I was a bit surprised by a few things in this book that bothered me but first the things I did like. I loved Bhodi. He is a great book boyfriend. I loved everything about him. There were some really funny moments. And there were some truly heartfelt moments between Bhodi and his father. I really liked the plot. It was a different way to write about a pop star!
I also loved the heroines parents.
What bothered me: The female character herself was so wishy washy. She acted very selfish as times. She kept saying how she didn’t like not being seen when she was w/ Bhodi. Because he was the star getting all the attention and she wasn’t. Then the next minuet she was saying she didn’t want to deal w/ his fame. 🤔 so that doesn’t make sense.
She kept saying how much of a connection they had but yet doesn’t want to stay w/ him bc of his fame. She leaves him right after he opens his heart about how all the important women (nanny and mother) in his life abandoned him. So she does the same w/o even trying to see how things would work between them or talking to him about it.
A really shitty thing to do to your so called soul mate.
Then how she realizes she should have stayed w/ him is stupid. The last few hours I had to speed the narration up just to finish it. I almost quit a couple times bc she made me so mad.

So lets backtrack to the beginning.
There is a massive forest fire going 80 miles an hour and surrounding them.
He takes his time looking for his clothes and shoes and his guitar.
She takes forever rounding up her co-workers pets. We’re talking not only dogs and hiding cat (thats fine) but a big cage of rats and a gold fish? Really?
Then she makes him wait for her to go get the rats, all the while everyone else is gone. No one else anywhere bc they all left. Smoke and flames everywhere and you are making a stranger wait for you to go get rats and a fish? He thinks she is going to get people. He is talking to the dog while she’s getting more animals.
All this inner dialogue is going on while they are trying to escape with their lives and it just seemed so out of place and unrealistic. There was no sense of impending doom or urgency. I almost quit after this but kept going.
So thats why I gave it a 3.

He lives across the street from me. My window looks straight into his bedroom. At first, I try to look away. But after I see him f--king, I'm addicted. The way he does it is primal. Animalistic. He gives in to his instincts. He's a ripped, tall, strong and dominant monster.... And I want him. I can't look away. He's going to give me something worth watching. But I don't know if I can leave it at that. I think soon, I'm going to want the tattooed, dark, muscular stranger all for myself....

I loved this audio! I was utterly entertained from the very beginning and throughout the entire book! I even listened at the grocery store bc I couldn’t turn it off! Really, really great! Sarah Sampino is a new to me narrator and I will definitely be looking for more of her work! She is really good. She gave the story so much feeling. Her accents and male voice is spot on too! I also will be looking for more from Hollie Armstrong. I highly recommend!

They say Paris is always a good idea.... You know what I say? Paris would be a much better idea if I spoke the dang language. I can't even board the metro to visit the Louvre without ending up at the Moulin Rouge, and let's not even mention how I'll ever make it through a day at my new office. Fortunately my company hooks me up with my own personal translator. Ooh la la. Or should I say bloody hell? Because he's charming, witty, and British, and he brings the city to life for me.

I really enjoyed this book. I found the author described Paris so well. The relationship grew and it felt so honest and realistic. Richard Armitage was fantastic narrating, he gets 5 stars. He did the British accent perfectly. (Maybe he is British I dont know). But I didn’t care for the female narrator much at all. Well she did do a fantastic male voice. But her regular voice didn’t sound real and she sounded much older than 30, but speeding up the narration helped. Everything else was fantastic.
