It had some good principles in it but the performance was so ridiculously bad that by the end all I could do was laugh at it. Also, it's almost implied in the beginning that it's a true story when it's really nothing more than a fictional story to set a backdrop to the 12 principles. I think it would have been much better to just lay them out in a well-written book, not a horribly performed play.

I love his acting but this book is nothing more than what I could have written. Very disappointed. His voice is amazing and I love listening to him talk but there was nothing in this worth listening to. I just threw away hours of my life.

At least 75% of this book was simply stolen from other books, some of it word for word. They reference the other books but it's absolutely pathetic how there is almost no original thought in this book. I almost wonder if it was a joke to see if they could just write stuff out of other books and create a book just to make money. I wish I had come up with such an idea. I'm definitely not an author but neither are these two.

David Sedaris's beloved holiday collection is new again with six more pieces, including a never before published story. Along with such favorites as the diaries of a Macy's elf and the annals of two very competitive families, are Sedaris's tales of tardy trick-or-treaters ("Us and Them"); the difficulties of explaining the Easter Bunny to the French ("Jesus Shaves"); and what to do when you've been locked out in a snowstorm ("Let It Snow").

It's definitely not Hemingway but it is a very fun to listen to book. A great way to relax and very captivating. Makes me want to keep going.
He doesn't take himself too seriously and just wrote something that is pure entertainment. I like it.
It really makes me want to get back into a game again but as an adult I don't have time anymore. Hopefully his books will let me enjoy it without wasting tons and tons of time like I use to.

This is completely stolen from a book called "The Slight Edge". I've read both and this is an exact copy of that one. He did do a much better job and it is a much better book than the original book, The Slight Edge but at the same time the fact that it was completely copied makes a situation with no integrity and makes it a little tough to listen to. It's always hard in our society when somebody steals from another person and then acts like it's their own idea. Makes it very difficult to listen to. If I have this timeline wrong please contact me and I will be glad to amend this review but I checked the publication dates andThe Slight Edge came out two or three years before the first version of this one. Don't know how it couldn't have been stolen. Congratulations for acting like you were something special. You're more successful but at the same time you're a thief.
