Lavender Shores’ resident tattoo artist Connor Clark looks the part - six-foot-six, muscle-bound, and covered in ink - and most definitely doesn’t blend in. Grafted into the Bryant family as a teenager to escape his abusive father, the Bryants saved his life, but Connor has never truly felt a part of the founding family royalty. And if his heart’s desire were revealed, it would betray everything the Bryants have done for him.

The narration of this story was truly awful. Incorrect words used, mispronounced words, notification sounds interrupting the story, repeating sentences, completely missing a chapter and repeating an earlier chapter in its place. The book sounded like it had been recorded in a bathroom. The story itself was really good but difficult to actually want to finish due to the narration. I would wholeheartedly recommend the author but I would vehemently recommend authors choose a different narrator than this one.

and I was not disappointed at all. The story aggravated me when Jackson was lauded to be the perfect alpha. Ward was obviously perfect for Bradley, he built him up instead of breaking him down. The story made me smile when Ward and Bradley finally got together, I wanted that to happen as soon as I met Ward. The story irritated me again when Jackson makes another appearance at the worst time ever. The story made me cry when Bradley text and called Ward to find out he had been shot. All these things make for an amazing story. If an author can make me feel an array of emotions the author becomes one of my 1-click authors.

Bartholomew's life is perfect. He's got a job he loves; he's in a committed relationship with his loving boyfriend who appreciates his neurotic tendencies, social anxiety, and general awkwardness. It's not "white picket fence and Golden Retriever" perfect, but their nice little apartment in the city and the cat they rescued from the shelter come pretty close.

I didn't read the ebook before listening so I came in fresh without any preconceived notions of how I thought the story should be performed. I am so glad I did it that way. The story was fun and the performance was awe inspiring. Mew (sp) was endearing and Adam came across as hot. For me Kyle could have disappeared and the story would still have been fun. He seemed a bit pushy and I personally am not a fan of pushy partners. He did redeem himself at the end and I laughed out loud at the donut comment.

Nathan wasn't sure why people were so obsessed with dating and sex. Sure it probably felt good, but he just couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. It might have helped if he knew what he was looking for. But with so many labels and options, he just wasn't sure. It seemed so easy to everyone else, but to him, it felt like something was missing. Gabriel thought Nathan was absolutely perfect. Sweet, funny, sexy, and completely confused about what he desired; but absolutely perfect.

The bond between Gabriel and Nathan is evident throughout the story even though their relationship is platonic in the beginning. I hope to hear more about them in future books.

The only time I didn't like this story was when I had to stop listening to it. I've listened to all the books by this author but I think this one is my favorite. The only thing I would have liked more was if there a complete ending. I would have liked to hear more about the restaurant and the crib. Hopefully the ending means that there is another book.

Grant had always loved more feminine men. A sexy guy in lingerie just did it for him. But when you looked more like a bouncer than an insurance agent, the pretty guys ran for the hills. Carter seemed different, though. When he looked at Grant, he saw the real man underneath the tattoos and muscles. Could Grant make him understand that he liked Carter just the way he was, or would Carter's doubts keep them apart?

I love this series, this book is my favorite one.
Carter is such a fun character to listen to and Grant is the perfect person for him. Grant lets Carter be Carter, even encourages him to do so.
The narration is fun as well. It is easy to discern which character is talking. There is a slight glitch with the recording, it skips throughout the story. I believe that is an audible issue.
